This was an absolute labor of love. It was the first project I planned when I joined the dev team a few months ago and I'm so happy to see it live. This video was weirdly nostalgic. Like the kind of thing you’d find in 10 years just to rewatch again. I think it’s just the overall music, editing, and-really-cinematography of it all. Very wholesome and _very_ well made, my goodness. Feels like the kind of stories I was imagining to myself as I played the OG Pokémon games. Very much in love with the direction this mod is going!
@@destroyingheal3968they are entities. so yes, but in order to get continous spawns, there would need to be a spawner, as its not like the map creator can be in the map with every player who decides they want to play it
I’ve been streaming this mod and playing with friends for about a month now and I have to say you all are amazing and thank you so much for a genuine Pokémon experience. I’ve loved every moment I’ve played and I cannot wait to see what you all do next!
Once this mod is updated long enough, no doubt we'll finally get fighting animation as well, and the wait WILL BE WORTH IT :D Edit: Also, I like the fact that brewing stands now have more uses and some Pokémon can also be part of the farming system. Not sure if other Pokémon mods also do the same, but features like that really makes Cobblemon feel like it's actually part of Minecraft and not felt like a separated mod. I love it when mods do that :D
@@MagickArcher plus this dosent have any code from pokemon games, and it has its own style rather then near 1:1 like pixelmon does, at the very least they could go to court and have a VERY strong case if they tried anything
Everytime I see the things modders make for Minecraft I am amazed more and more, from simple model updates to full fledged entirely new games inside the world. I love what you guys have done and thank you for developing this mod to such a extent.

i think it goes without saying, but WORTH THE WAIT! the crafting of mints and potions is so clever, it's great to finally have trading, and most importantly SO MANY COOL NEW POKEMON! once I check the actual update out, I'm getting that cherry wood Torterra first thing I do.
This mod is one of the best pokemon mods I've seen (maybe the best mod I ever saw in fact), the Pokémon get brought to life even more with their minecraft looks, and that cherry blossom tortera looks amazing (Im geussing the tree that grows depends on the biome it evolves in, which might lead to multiple forms)
I can't express how inspiring this is, seeing all the work put into this mod.. I cannot wait to start building maps using it and I'm hoping for datapack support, npcs, creative blocks, commands, all the technical stuff that we can use to create our own regions. So exciting!!!

to all the devs who worked on this, you guys are awesome! I can tell the amount of time and dedication in this project. Keeping the minecraft asthetic while also trying to implement that same 2d sprite feel from my childhood. You guys have made it so far from where you were with just a small selection of cobblemon to now, from the looks of the trailer, hundreds of models! I hope you guys keep growing and keep up the amazing work you're all doing!

You can move worlds forward to new versions of Minecraft. Most mods for 1.19 have been updated to 1.20 at this point as well. Unfortunately it's too much work to maintain older versions when we update, so we'll be keeping up current versions of Minecraft.
This mod is amazing and I bet it’s going to be one of if not the most popular mod yet. They just need to add more stuff to do ex riding Pokémon and ways to summon legendarys and stuff. I’d personally love a way to play with your Pokémon to but that’s not as important as the other things
I saw this on my TH-cam recommended page! I just want to say that I have seen cobblemon around before, but this trailer fully convinced me to give it a try :D It's downloading now as I type this out, can't wait to give it a go!!

I've got to say, you've absolutely blown expectations out of the water. This is my favorite Pokemon mod, and nothing has come close to beating that. Thank you so so so much for making this mod, and I am so ecstatic to see what else you all come up with.
If I recall this mod doesn't replace vanilla hostile mobs like Pixelmon did, and supposedly will allow the Cobblemon to fight them. So I could see a trailer for that potential update where the player defends a village from a raid using Cobblemon, maybe even have some Pillagers USING some in the raid. Would be cool, that and fighting the ender dragon as well.
The fact that this mod gives me more nostalgia bombs than actual Pokemon media says a LOT! This mod just blows me away, I get so excited with each update on this channel!

This trailer is absolutely gorgeous, I was smiling ear to ear the whole time. The cinematics, and little bits of story and personality are so well conveyed. All of the new features implemented flawlessly into the trailer itself Top shelf work here; like, official quality stuff. Just amazing
I really appreciate how much thought was put into this mod to integrate it into Minecraft, with all the potion brewing, sheering and milking Pokémon, farming etc and I can’t wait to see how you Minecraftify stuff like fossils, legendaries and the like.

As a map creator I really hope to see a complete NPC creator/editor tool and cobblemon spawners!

Man if only actual pokemon games were made with this much love, this is amazing, genuinely cannot believe some of these animations.
If Pokémon ever decides to do a collab DLC with Minecraft, they should consider hiring these devs.
