  • Typical Swedish houses line the streets of this early 20th century suburb. The streets do look a bit to similar…

Aha, yes, I have friends that lived abroad for a long time that have pointed that out: they love walking around in Swedish living areas cause you can see so much of what’s going on inside

Glad your GPS worked, unfamiliar territory?? Wish my suburb looked like that, charming, historic, buildings with character and beautiful details. Row houses similar to townhouses here, a step up from an apartment, not quite a house. A nice relaxing, peaceful walk, and educational!!

If you go to the playlist section of my channel and look under “discover new places” you’ll find sections from northern Sweden, southern Sweden, the archipelago etc. or this one from small towns: th-cam.com/play/PLquhEbgx-gHcflMheh9LXzJBZ-PQZp19n.html

Lovely walk! A bit scary 😮 at the end but the fact that you uploaded/posted probably means that you found yourself. Really like your turn of phrase, “walking in the semi-right direction” … that is the story of most Life on this Planet … semi-walking in the right direction! … that is for all or most of us. ❤

Love yourvideos. I hope you found your car quickly! It did occur to me as yiu turned down various streets that you might lose your bearings. However as yiuve uploaded this youre safely home. Love the swedish houses and the pride taken in keeping houses and gardens well fettled , as we say in Yorkshire. I wish that attitude were more extensive here in uk.

The rowhouses always look great until you move in. It's like living in apartment if you have great people on both sides, it's a dream, if not it's a nightmare. Gald, you found your car. Sometime cars just move themself. They think it's funny. Hope you gave that car a good talking to. Lol

People seem to be assured you're okay since you posted this. Someone else could have posted it. GPS takes all the adventure out of getting lost in a city. Of course, in my country there are areas to avoid at all costs. I once started walking on a holiday evening in South Florida & came to a deserted neighborhood & saw a sign, Liberty City. Egad! There had just been a violent race riot here a month earlier & I'm alone, white as a Swede & in the ghetto. Jesus help me.
