Two tips for ya Mar. 1. Each weapon normally has two reloads. Don't show off the same reload multiple times. Using the whole magazine or just partial. 2. Ya don't need to reload the same gun 4 times. TH-cam has a rewind feature.

There's the 'click snap' of closing the toggle, but mixed in with it is the push forward, pull back noise of the shotguns in game. You don't usually hear this.
I think a lot of people (myself included) always thought WW1 consisted of just bolt action rifles and 1800s technology weapons, but this game does a good job showing that they actually had machine guns and some pretty advanced stuff, but was brand new tech back then.

I like how this is one of those games that really captures the feel of a gun, like the animations from recoil. Most guns pack a punch and you can really feel it tremble through the ground. Keeping it pointed straight becomes a bit of a problem when your hand starts to hurt

The Selbstalader M1916 included in the game is actually not the infantry version, it was the version meant for Zeppelin, Tank and Airplane crews. With the coming of Machineguns, this weapon aswell as many others featured in the game, desolved into history.

I think he's talking about the MG's. Though I could be wrong, I feel that the video was intended to show off the overheat animations as much as the rest of the animations.
Never was a fan of Battlefield's animations, but these have to be my least least favorite out of all the games. The pacing is all over the place. A lot of the weapons looks like the are played ingame at a much higher fps than they were animated at while some of them look fine like the M1916, MP18, the double barrel, or the flare gun to name a few. Then some of them are just inconsistent like the Lugers. The mag-in and out are fast but the the bolt release is really drawn out (same thing with the Frommer pistols). They also have some absurdly exaggerated movements with a few that wave the gun all over the screen. I do like the Steyr Hahn reload though. It's also the only clip animation with any kind of struggle to get the rounds into the magazine. At least they seemed to have fixed problems with the last couple games like the jittering and broken arms. Also a lot less clipping on these and they are smoother in slow mo than the previous games.
And? I'm not calling it a bad game, complaining about it's historical accuracy, whining about realism, comparing it to cod, or some other irrelevant bullshit. The only thing I'm talking about is the animations which is what this video is about. No need to get your panties in a twist.
