I won't say that Billy Joel is the greatest.... Because y'all already know that! I'm a super fan at least one week a year and my reason is because he was invited to a local school play that was doing a musical based off his body of work. I'm order to make it about the kids and not about him he never replied to the invite. He showed up just after it started and sat in the back and enjoyed the show. The way i heard it was he either visited with the kids and the adults who directed it after the show or the next day and made sure the kids knew he saw the play and absolutely loved it.
