CF Moto is the next Hyundai. Before it was a so so company now they make one of the most reliable cars out there. Waiting for the CLX Heritage and I'm gonna get one for sure. Nice vid! Cheers!
I'm from Australia and great report with all this will look at getting one with after market stubby exhaust, sounds neat and meaty !. At the moment their cheap here on special price from CF Moto . Many thanks for a comprehensive and honest review and glad you enjoy your new bike. Leigh H Coffs Harbour NSW.
i have a 300SR as my entry level sportsbike. this awesome machine - the 650NK will be next. i'm gonna have only CFMoto bikes from now on. i wish this brand smashes all the other brands that makes it difficult for common folks to have bikes.
Of all the reviews on this bike, this is the best. Very informative on all angles. I just bought an nk650 because of this review and i hope you get a commission for your review 😜. I even subscribed on your channel. All the best brother.
Interestingly CF Moto has just bought the rights to the KTM 990 V-twin motor to build its own bikes. If these bigger bikes are anything as good as the WK650 I very much look forward to seeing what they will produce.
Stumbled across your channel yesterday (29th June 2019) after seeing a local riding school at a track day meet for Kawasaki in South Wales, where they had some AJS bikes stood around for learner purposes. So after looking up AJS on TH-cam, I discovered you lads. And I'm glad I have, as you're channel is introducing me to a whole new range (to me, that is) of motorbikes I never knew existed. So big thanks for that. As a returning rider my head has been spinning as to what to get bike-wise - so far test ridden the Z650, Vitpilen 701 (massive fun), CB650R and the Duke 790. The last bike stalled on me in a slow right hand turn and I dropped it, but managed to save it, though in the process of putting my right leg out, I tore my hamstring. So, confidence shaken, and four weeks of healing later, I'd been thinking maybe I need a smaller (as in 125cc) bike to run around with, and reacquaint myself with clutch control, turns and stops at low speed. So far I'm really liking the look of the Bullit Hero. As for this 650 twin - does it actually perform the same as the Z650 from Kawasaki, as that left me less impressed as I had hope, plus I felt the seating could have benefited with the addition of an extra inch or two for sliding your bottom further away from the tank. Love the exhaust note on your 650. Liked, subbed and dinged that bell. Apologies for the rambling post. Keep up the great work, both. Best regards from South Wales.
Hi, thank you and welcome. The WK is definitely a take out for a day blast bike and not a tourer but it is pretty comfortable on the arse and wrists. 0-60 in 3.2 and top end is around 115 to 125 to wind and rider weight depending. However I am not a fast top speed rider so the bottom end is important to me. Moving it by hand might be awkward for you as it feels heavy and is 206kg. Yet as soon as you move it turns really easily. The hero is great! 60 mph great sound and look. Those tyres can be notchy on corners and roundabouts so would recommend a different tyre like the Michelin Anakee Wilds. What about going for a mid range bike like a 300. Check out our Zontes review. Maybe the X310 would be good. So very easy to ride, 95-105 top end. Great in corners, modern, cool looking, all electric and keyless. Yes it is a single and a tiny bit buzzy but only on sound, not through the bars.
I have bought a 2014 650tr, and looking forward to getting it, but at the moment it is still at the shop, as it just needs one new part. Wk UK don't stock the part it needs, I wouldn't mind but the bike not that old!! Having said that I have read reviews, they say that the bike is nice to ride
I am worried about myself I actually prefer the bike with the standard exhaust. Nice bike and would consider one but worried what it would look after my forty mile daily commute in the depth of winter?
Sounds well! But here in Germany there is no chance to build an own exhaust. Police will stop you and have a closer look at it. And if it's not original or build by a company and legally they will stop your ride and maybe you can take your ride home on the backseat on your mate' s bike!
I have the previous model that is mechanically identical without ABS. i paid £2995 new. Good luck with 0 to 60mph in 3.5 seconds. Best I've achieved is 4.5 sec, I guess a better rider could shave some off of that.
I had a 2013 model bloody marvelous so good swapped it and my TDM900 for a new versys the bike motor they copied defo would have another cheers from dave
How would the service costs compare to Kawasaki ? We just had the CFMOTO launch in india 2 days back, so it will be interesting to know if this is really a bargain and cheap to maintain as well.
i have a 2019 650 nk ( LAMS RESTRICTED) and it is restricted to 55hp . if that one is 65hp then would i be ablke to get mine to the same power with a tune ?
I have a CFMoto NK650TT. I want the exact same or at least very similar exhaust can. I live in Australia, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! I love this channel and am keen on looking at other options. Plus if you have any info on the soon to be launched 700 then that will also be appreciated. Happy and safe riding to all.
Hi, no info on the 700 for the UK yet...not sure about Australia. The exhaust was self made using a Scorpion oval can, cut down, then add to a pipe that came with my Delkevic exhaust for my Triumph 955i
Hi. So I bought a 2014 650nk in America and was looking to upgrade it to the newer model if I can. Out of curiosity and your opinion is the tt model better and faster than the standard 650nk? The 2014 only did 112 supposedly and the max I had it was 110 so 126 is just a little faster. Also is white the only color they had? Seen the blue model and loved the looks but seen it was a 250 or 300. Want something faster than that
On the edge....You need to sit on one. They do have a lower seat height than many 600s but a decent stretch to the bars. Very hard to tell until you sit on it.
The fuelling on mine could be better in the city but mine has the previous generation Ducati engine management and fuel injection system, so maybe the current Bosch one is better
Hi, no issues, rides lovely on a long ride. Malcolm did a 2 hour ride, mixed roads, no issues what so ever. Very well balance and great low end power, very flickable in corners and although it weighs 206 kg, you do not feel it on the road.
CF Moto has picked up their game a bit more every year that they have been out and not just with their bikes but with the atv's and sxs as well , and you get a lot for the money you pay ..
Seriously? How very blinkered of you. You clearly haven't seen or ridden one; or have any experience of modern Bigger capacity Chinese bikes, or for that matter a lot of the modern smaller capacity Chinese built bikes. I would be interested to know what phone you have. Sadly so many people spend 2k plus more for the same bike because it has a Japanese or likewise name on the tank. I urge you to do proper research.
@@motorsforthemasses for the extra money you get a Kwak and not a er6n copy even the suspension set up is the same, I would rather have a 2 year old er6n and know I've got a bike that won't depreciate quicker than I get through a bag of haribo and that I know I can find a main dealer nearby not have to dispute warranty details over email or phone and wait weeks for parts. Me too!! I considered a 990 Superduke recently....but may hold out on the Triumph Speed Triple and this WK and see what comes....
OMG that exhaust unleash the beast 😈.
Well congratulations on your new bike and looking fwd on your long term review :)
I'm loving the bike ,the look is stunning, I may have to get one myself ,oh and great video as always
I own a Cf-moto 250nk and i love it. I hope my next will be the 650GT.

keep it well sprayed up with WD40 or a spray oil on alloy and chrome parts untill winters over
I ride mine in all weathers after 3.5 years its almost showroom condition
Loved the exhaust
Hi, have you still got it? Was it reliable? Would you buy another?
How did the finish hold up?

Great review! Do you still have it? What are your thoughts about that bike? Cheers!
I had so much problems with my cfmoto nk 650... Now I'm riding a KTM Duke 790 and it's a lot t better.
Really good looking Pretty bike and so is 650 MT 😍
short and sweet thanks !
Nice bike. Sadly its now £5499 plus OTR & has the bhp reduced to 60.5.
do you think this would be reliable like the kawasakis?
Do you still have it? What do you think after 2 years ?
a little commentating would have been nice while you were riding the bike to give some on the road feedback, the bike is very nice and a great price
Fair point and will do on the next one.
nice one, cheers
Vrey nice review im looking forward on buying the 650 mt but i think versys is still better? I think the cfmoto produces less torque and hp

I sold it on as my 1000cc bikes were faster, but as a 650 it is a great bike!

I didn't notice any mention of it being Chinese?
Another good review, just one gripe, where's ma quota of un-edited jibber jabber.
Will I be to tall for this at 6 foot 2 ??

does the cf moto 400cc utilise the same frame or is it smaller frame.
I believe it is slightly different.
Same frame
Looks like good bargain bike
What a bargain for the price and looks good, what's the quality like? I like your reviews 😊
Very well built, solid, stylish, nothing to be concerned about at all.
i have this bike in nz. can you suggest a muffler mate.
Gpr......but expensive

Nc review sir.. Do u feel any lagging or jutter during heavy traffic in high gear? Does the weight bother you during the low speed manouvering?
Juttering depends on what speed, I didn't notice any issues. Weight only really noticeable when pushing.

I can get one for you.
