- Wrapping up the set of trails we looped when @JayRidesTrails and I met up with @TrailTrackerSwitzerland for a seesion in the Pfälzerwald. Which gave JD and I a chance to show Darren some of our most loved secret trails in the little patch we ride. And some real bangers they are too.
So strap up. And enjoy a slop fest of natural trail bliss... :D

Cheers Christoph... Yeah... Was good seeing Darren again... And the Pfälzerwald (the section we knowhas some really good trails. Pity it was a bit sloppy in places though. But I think Darren was impressed with the stuff we have here... :D

Another banger Phil. A shame some of the lower sections were so muddy. On the other hand, those delicious rock sections at the top get me so jazzed up brotha. You were crushing that last trail man!!!
For sure Sage... That first one is an odd combination of flow and rocks... But a really fun trail... Actually... All the trails on this day sere really fun. But the rain did make it tricky in places...

How do you like that 5010? Thought about it but went for a Forbidden Druid V2 as a trail bike. Nice riding condition :D Pfälzerwald always puts a smile on my face!!
I have been VERY impressed with the little 5010... Santa Cruz did some kind of voodoo on it to get i the way they did. It's agile. Fun. And super agressive. And it somehow gets through all the jank like a boss! Really happy that I chose it instead of a "full sized" enduro bike...

@@TrailTales The druid delivers just as they promised. It's more agile than the v1 as I read, feels poppy and that for almost the same length as a dreadnought. The rear is really forgiving still and plows through stuff. Even pedals pretty well uphill. But I guess, I am a Forbidden fanboy by now. Dreadnought was superb in Finale last week as well. Does the 5010 feel sketchy by times? Watched a review by guykestv where he compares druid and the 5010.
@@RoughRidersMTB I've not noticed/felt it being sketchy... I run mine exclusively in "low" - in fact, I've never even tried it in "High" - I don't see the point. I've ridden a bunch of different bikes and medels over time and this is by far my fav one... It just ticks all the boxes for me. on the stuff I ride...

Beer gives you strong legs. It's a scientific fact... Everybody knows that... Pffft!
