Sorry Wayne, last comment should have been for CJ in Costa Rica ! Thoroughly enjoyed your flounder session. You know it's cold when your butt ring gets iced up !
You looked like a pair of Eskimos so that seal probably thought you were out after him hence his derisory antics. Very entertaining and informative - especially that it seems to be colder in Poole than Norway. No Trigger fish that session.
Well done both of you for effort. 👏👏 Nice flounder for Steve.🎣😲 Loved the seal footage.🤣🤣 Enjoyable watch.😃 Good luck for 2023.🤞🙏 A great channel.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Take care and stay safe.😷🙊
great video mate only thing when me my wife and son set off fishing now i carnt help humming ur intro song 😂 my dad is 74 he had a stroke a few years back so he doesn’t get out fishing much now but loves watching u guys on youtube so i thought i would give it a try not for money or owt like that just for my old man take care pal ur a true inspiration
Finally some realistic fishing on youtube, reminds me of fishing with my mates, always trying new stuff, breaking stuff and working through bad luck especially fishing for seabass but having a good time and celebrating every fish that we land. Keep it up lads, greetings from the Netherlands (Zeeland)!
Great video as usual Wayne. My best is 3LB 7oz, at jerrys point at 2 am one Christmas day. Keen ehhh? I could not identify either of your marks today, except I thought you might be over at baiter, but too much traffic. Anyway, I give up! Take care, and I am still watching for the Chesil vid you promised.
Did well there guys was a competition the other week on the boats in harbour 23 people fishing not one flounder caught. And I was thinking to myself if you don’t catch an eel on that last mark I’d be shocked with that you reeled one in 😂 keep up the good videos 👌🏻
Awsome to hear that there are a few about they sure have taken a decline in the harbour over the years Il have to give them a go soon before they slip away again
I live like a 2 minute walk from the harbour and theirs a big pier a smaller pier and a kind of estuary beside the smaller pier where the river runs through at lowtide but when the tide is on the rise or ebb its a perfect bottle neck where the fish have to pass, I've caught plenty there and the one fish I've never landed is a flatfish and I've seen em following baits and even jelly worms right to the surface, I've used every technique and still yet to land one. I'll get one at some point 👉.
@@TheShoreHunter as always wayne ,love people trying to guess where you are lol,it’s a great spot the first place you fished ,but the seals are killing the fishing all over poole harbour
That's a cracking flounder, our local 3 Rivers Flounder Comp (Tamar, Plym, Yealm) took place on Sunday and the winning fish was about 2lb 12oz. Flounder seem to leave the area whenever I turn up though, and haven't had one for a looong time. The Banzai Mullet rod is lovely, I just got one a couple of weeks ago but haven't been out to use it yet.
Is there salmon & sea trout in the area, if there is then good chance poachers with nets are cleaning the flounder out, they did it in Ireland, ruined rivers for years. Just a possibility, great video as usual Wayne 🎣🎣🎣
@@TheShoreHunter well done still, cracking flounder for all your hard work & cold nights, thanks for all the content, I love it when your videos pop up 🎣😎🦈
Anyone know what the best knot 🪢 is to attach a leader to your main line , I've used a uni knot but I always get a clunk clunk clunk as the knot passes through the eyes on the rod whe casting, I'm using 15lb braid mainline onto a nylon 30lb leader. Anyway advice would be welcome 😊
Yo shore hunter!! I'm asking you a question 🤔 lol what knott do you use to attach your mainline to your shock leader?? I always have problems with my uni knott no matter how well I tie it it always goes "clunk clunk clunk!" As it passes through the eyes on my rod and I don't want to chip the porcelain eyes so what can you recommend? A bit of glue or is there any kind of thing that I could put over the leader to mainline knott??
Great viewing as always im slowly working my way through your videos 👍
Yes mate. I appreciate that
Cracking video wayne ,pleasure to watch and a cracking flounder
Thanks buddy

I’m working in Lymington the next 10 months I need to get myself down there one evening.
Don’t really get flatties rand Pompey anymore.
It’s a shame 🤪
Thanks for bringing some sunshine into our lives. Bet you would rather be on Seaford beach - not. Can't wait for the next adventure.

Its been hard mate, they feel like flounders the little gits. I've had more since.
Awsome to hear that there are a few about they sure have taken a decline in the harbour over the years Il have to give them a go soon before they slip away again
Good to see top anglers fishing there, well done.

What size reel suits the Tronix-pro Banzai ?
2000 or 1000 for the mullet rod
Great watch Wayne some nice secret marks there 😉👍
Glad you enjoyed it

Not really 😕

It's sad but over the years the flounders have been hammered Keith. Its a shame hey

Thats the most expensive jacket i have seen any fisherman wear , dont get it dirty ......good choice and i am sure its real warm🙂
Hey Phil, it's half the price of my fishing jackets, good old go outdoors. Also it keeps me alive 😃
Nutter’s 😂😂🐟🎣😊
Definitely 😎
Where n Poole is it?
Holesbay 👍
Military rations but you dont eat the fish 🐟 Okkkkey
Let it drift bud where it stops is where the fish are . I fish the taw and we can have literally 50/60 a trip. Let it bounce
With u all the way ! And i swear there closer in than you think
Hi Kev, we were using a 1oz ball lead at time to keep it moving in the tide. Thanks for the comment and you are definitely correct.
Poole harbour? Why didn't you pop in for coffee?
I didn't know where too go 😃
Well, I'm between Southbourne and Poole....just sayin' 😄😄
Should drop your specimen weight to 2lb, a 2lb we is easily a specimen pretty much anywhere now
Hey Stuart thanks mate, we went off of the area, thanks for watching.
@@TheShoreHunter yeah of course my bad👍
