Aurora Australis - Lake Bolac , Vic 19th-20th April 2024

I recorded throughout the night from 9pm to 6am, catching some beautiful, but faint displays due to the bright moon light. Luckily she saved the best for her encore after moonset. A glorious, crashing, operatic encore it was.
I feel so lucky to have witnessed this night, it was like being plugged into the universe's charger, I'm still buzzing days afterwards!

Wow what a beautiful time lapse clip!!! Your frame rate is great, star movement smooth, no trails, I'm guessing ISO 2500 at 10 sec each?? Fantastic job!!! I'm a nightscape timelapser myself, and so I can relate to how stoked you were to get this shot!!! Few people know the long (often cold) nights we have! Just loved it!! Congrats!
