People in comments talking about who is best ... ANY of the top 50 players in the world can win a tourney on any given day. In fact you can 4-0 someone with each game ending in 3-4 minutes simply by blindly picking the "correct" tactic (cheese) and it not being scouted or countered. 30% of all matches are based on luck, 70% on skill. That's just RTS in general. It's what makes it exciting.
More 5% luck and 95% skill, cheese suck at pro level, they can deflect almost every cheese , and the scout is so on point, so rare to win a bo5 with full cheese

Time played terribly. Time doesn't know how to use mech, yet he gave soO such a hard time and then defeated him in the end. I watch a lot of starcraft (and these casters watch even more) and i'm 100% convinced that no other zerg could've held those pushes.
You're right TY is definitely up there. But unlike innovation he cannot get a win with his late game alone, hence he has to resort to his mix up in builds (only then does he go 3-3 against serral).
Zerg has too much tricks. Even when Innovation or Maru play with a skillful Zerg like Serral in a very late game like this, they still have small chance to beat good Zerg players (we can look at history). Perhaps, Blizzard have nerf infestor or viper or give Seeker Missile back to raven to kill infested Terran herd or mass zergling/baneling. Terran and Protoss need some tricks to again Zerg at late time. Zerg's viper can hook, and infestor can cast neural parasite on a Mothership is ridiculous. Cheer.
Fungal Growth + Parasitic Bomb + infested Terran + few corruptors = entire Terran/Protoss air fleets were demolished in 5 second. What's a game =))=))=)).

They definitely need to nerf zerg, so many late game units with massive aoe damage, fungal, parasitic bombs, swarm host. And terran only has a nuke that never hits anything, even brood lords can run away from those things.
You are totally forgetting Raven missle AoE damage and Siege tank AoE damage that really out strips any Zerg splash damage. Brood lords can be sniped by Ghosts. Seriously watch Maru vs Serral semifinal from last year. Insane usage of Raven's and ghost by Maru in game 1 of that series to come back he went down to 4 scvs at one point. In general Maru's usage of ghosts and nukes in that series against Serral was off the wall and was a big part of how he 3-0'd him.

That "manner mule" wasn't a mistake or a sign of TY being cocky, it was in fact a way to distract the locusts and attack IT and not TY's base. At least the casters are pretty...
In the context of early and mid-game: You need ghosts to sap the queen's energy when against Serral. I don't intend to simplify what I know to be complicated but my thought is for Terran to build incomplete Engineering Bays as wall against Serral's very much expected flanks. Small investment for the potential reward of #1) increasing you army's chances of survival, 2) maintaining your position, 3) being more cost-efficient. Long game: if you combine the abilities at Zerg's disposal, it really looks like Zerg is OP. But any small tweaks you give Terran could potentially make them OP in short-mid game so really.. Nothing you can do. Terran just has to finish the game earlier when things are more evenly matched or just lose out against someone like Serral.

During the mind control (of say, a Battlecruiser), not only do you lose up to 8 supply per control [imagine 8 Battlecruisers at a time], Zerg increases their army size by the same amount. To make matters worse, your own unit is killing you - and then all this while Zerg is able to either attack you as a combined force with your own units and use your units' abilities against you - not to mention fungul which makes your army pretty much sitting duck. If they have not or chose not to completely demolish you already, they can simply pull your units to their side and massacre them. Either way, as a Terran/Protoss, you are very screwed if against someone with same skill level as Serral in the late game. One other thing I'd like to point out, the freaking nukes duration to land was designed for newbies. Should shorten it even just 2 seconds... Make them land with true damage for once.

spore crawlers are definitely the best units in the game. Considering their power, their death animations leave a lot to be desired.
