Can’t agree more, I believe the difference in the innocence of their voices.. original Tangled’s was full of hope and was like a young girl singing a lullaby. This was a statement, bold and been through some hell. Love both, but they’re so different!

+Adriana Ibanez Technically speaking, my range spans over alto and soprano notes so I really can be classified as either.
I've always considered myself more of an alto than anything else though. I've always been more comfortable singing lower notes in the alto range rather than higher soprano notes. It's only been in the past year or two that my higher range has really developed.
I use chest voice more often than head voice but for this particular song I wanted it to sound a little lighter, so I used a mix of the two!

IDK if I already commented on this video long ago, but I just wanted to say that this cover is incredible! It almost sounds like Queen Arianna (Rapunzel's mother) is the one singing the song, which I especially enjoyed due to a personal fan theory of mine that the queen may have unknowingly received at least some of the Sun Flower's healing powers after consuming it directly (whereas Rapunzel indirectly received the Sun Flower's power due to the queen being pregnant with her when the queen drank the Sun Flower medicine).

Some people have already commented this but DAMN it sounds like a ritual, haunting yet alluring. In the original the lyrics really fits as a healing incantation, but with this cover it sounds like the high priestess of some cult lost something so important and doing a complicated and risky ritual just to get it back.
This is gorgeous! Such melodic and smooth singing, Disney should be begging on their knees to get you to work with them. Once again, this is a really beautiful cover, amazing!
