She needed to sound like the character in the movie and she did. She did a brilliant job. Not every French person sounds the same or has the exact same accent. She sounded realistic enough.

Anna, you don't have to about your French accent, you 100% sound French. For someone whose learning French, every accent is unique. Keep up the fantastic work!
It's as good an accent as in the movie itself in my opinion, i dont see why some people complain. Having an accent is kind of the point, is it not? :)

she isn't learning french tho? she's canadian, i think she mentioned knowing french somewhere in her channel. it's just hard to place an accent in a language you already know in another one you know. i guess imagine trying to speak english but in a finnish accent. like, you know how to speak english fluently, but you don't know how to do it in a finnish accent.

I just wanted to tell you that the choice of not changing "she" to "he" was very spot on! Lesbians and homosexuals in general were not tolerated by the Catholic Church at that time, so with this choice you gave Female Frollo more depth than you would if you changed the love interest from a woman to a man. Very good job! And the song is so fabulous!
