    Signs Of Enzyme Deficiency
Low enzyme levels in the body can lead to various symptoms and health issues, depending on which enzymes are deficient. Here are some common signs and symptoms of low enzyme levels:
Fatigue: Inadequate nutrient absorption can result in low energy levels and fatigue.
Nutrient Deficiencies: Deficiencies in vitamins and minerals, due to poor absorption, can lead to various health issues like anemia (iron deficiency) or weak bones (calcium deficiency).
Weight Gain: Slow metabolism due to low enzyme activity can contribute to weight gain and difficulty losing weight.
Blood Sugar Issues: Enzymes involved in carbohydrate metabolism can affect blood sugar levels, potentially leading to hypoglycemia or diabetes.
Muscle Weakness and Pain: Inadequate enzyme function can lead to muscle cramps, weakness, and pain.
Hormonal Imbalances: Enzymes play a role in hormone synthesis and regulation. Low enzyme levels can disrupt hormonal balance, leading to symptoms like mood swings and irregular menstrual cycles.
Skin Issues: Dry skin, rashes, and other skin problems can be related to poor digestion and nutrient absorption.
Mental Fog: Difficulty concentrating and memory issues may arise from inadequate nutrient absorption and energy production.
    Proteolytic Enzyme Benefits
Proteases and other enzymes play crucial roles in maintaining various physiological processes in the human body. Here's why they are beneficial:
    Proteases
Digestive Aid: Proteases break down proteins into smaller peptides and amino acids, facilitating digestion and absorption in the gut.
Immune Function: They help in the degradation of pathogenic proteins, contributing to the immune response.
Inflammation Reduction: Some proteases can reduce inflammation by breaking down inflammatory proteins.
Blood Clot Regulation: Proteases are involved in blood clotting and clot dissolution, maintaining hemostasis.
    Other Enzymes
Metabolic Processes: Enzymes like amylases and lipases aid in the digestion of carbohydrates and fats, respectively, ensuring nutrients are available for energy and growth.
Detoxification: Enzymes in the liver, such as cytochrome P450, help detoxify harmful substances and drugs, protecting the body from toxins.
DNA Repair and Replication: Enzymes like DNA polymerases are essential for DNA replication and repair, ensuring genetic stability and proper cell function.

I think I would benefit from what you're talking about, so thank you for presenting this. Dr. Bastidas presents in a knowledgeable and authoritative manner. That being said, it is unrealistic to assume that I might be able to find a holistic or naturalist place for treatment; or even be able to be able to know if they are "reliable' or not. I am in a small town that has a very limited medical field of choices, let alone choices for natural healing, as given to us by God. I'll absorb what I can from this presentation and hope to find more applicable understanding, in the area of the mystery of the elusive enzymes.

I'm here too! I called the company, and they are doing a search for Dr's in my area that use their products. He didn't know that Dr. Bastidas was on this program, and so he was a little confused as to why I was calling. I think we might overwhelm the system. 😆So, I am waiting to hear back because they have to do a deep dive to see is there are any practitioner's near us.

I just found this - do enzymes cause kidney damage?
"recent studies suggest that proteolytic enzymes may contribute to glomerular injury by mechanisms independent of GBM damage."

Is Dr. Bastidas reference the Protease or Protease 375K? Thank you!

    • @TheBiblicalNutritionist
      @TheBiblicalNutritionist  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

Both are good. However, Protease 375k is a good choice for sensitive individuals who would prefer a gentle introduction to proteas and for those with an intolerance to bromelain (pineapple) and/or papain (papaya) as well as to promote optimal circulation for individuals who would benefit from limiting calcium intake.*
