Once Upon a Studio gave us three things...
1. The Celebration of a studio that's been around since our grandparents time.
2. The return of not only some old and new Disney Characters but also some underrated ones too.
3. The Memory and the dedication of Disney's longest-serving employee, Burney Mattinson.
May he Rest in Peace.
Not to mention a scene with Mickey interacting with Walt Disney which surpassingly throughout the companies history has never happened before.

Burny Mattinson was a legendary animator who worked for the Walt Disney Company for 70 years.
He was also involved in the production of works that established Disney's Golden Age, such as ``Beauty and the Beast'' and ``Aladdin.''
It's really amazing to be part of the staff of Disney productions from the 1950s to the 2020s.
R.I.P..Burny. Pinocchio 1940 is without a doubt the absolute greatest Disney film ever made. So happy to know how much it had inspired you.
My favorite movies of the Uncle Walt era are Snow White & Cinderella

This is the 100 years TRUE celebration, this short all this should have been on THEATERS....not wish, this make me tear up, this is wholesome and worth celebrating, I WISH you guys had put all this amazing thing the whole year, to truly embrace what makes Disney truly magical. Thank you Burny for all the amazing animation and memories he left us, I hope he meet WALT again and continue having a conversation.
What's wrong with Wish? It's very nostalgic and magical like Snow White, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty and others. Asha is very pretty and Star is very cute.
Guys, guys! Stop! I'm not even re-watching the short, and you're making me tear up! It was very sad learning about this man's death when it happened. This, along with Once Upon a Studio, are great tributes to his work. Maybe one day we'll get a full documentary.

I would bet money that Walt was one of the first to meet him at the pearly gate, shook his hand and said "Good work, son." To have devoted nearly his whole life to bringing happiness and creativity to countless others, and having something as special as Once Upon a Studio dedicated in his memory, is an achievement for anyone to be very proud of. Storytelling has been in my blood since I read my first books, and Disney has been a central pillar of my life from age three to thirty-three. It's been my lifelong dream that someday I can do something there that would make him, Walt, and everyone else proud. To tell a story that people love, to leave something of myself in it that I know will be there for others after I'm gone, is the one thing I want most. Rest in peace, Burny... send your creativity to all others who want to do the same things you did.

Burney Mattinson was at the D23 Expo once and talked about working with the company, meeting Walt and cashing checks for him and the movies he worked on. It was such an honor seeing him and his contributions to not only Disney, but to animation as well. Thank you Burney for everything 💖
Today a part of our childhood passed away.
When I was young I used to try to remember the names that appeared in the opening and end credits of disney films. Burny Mattinson's name was one of the few that stuck with me.
So long Burny. We will miss you. Disney may have lost its oldest employee, but heaven has gained its newest legend.

What do you know, that song from Pinocchio wasn't kidding when it said "When you wished upon a star," anything can happen, well if you're a little kid who believes in wishes. I gotta say, this is the best Disney short ever, and the greatest group photo ever, despite some movies that weren't actually meant to be made due to the bad writing, still don't know which movies did cause the downfall, and I still don't understand why many people said Wish gone horribly, thinking it's another Disney disaster after Strange World.
I actually thought Wish was a slight improvement from Strange World.

After watching this I didn't even know who this guy was now I can easily say his legacy reminds me of John lasseter which we all know that guy was famous for Pixar movies let alone founded Pixar even though this Burny Martinson obviously didn't create Disney he had the same legacy as a director and producer etc but anyways he had the same legacy as John Lasseter which I will admit is pretty freaking cool.❤😂🙏😇👼🕊️💐

As someone who an animation filmmaker who has made two animated short films I know what you are talking about burry when you said that fun part of really getting into that world when your sitting take a little stick figure character and think what his world like I know what you talking burry as someone who been to that world twice rest in peace burry as you go into another world in heaven

I love everything about once upon a studio except on little thing at the end when the say to our pal burny after that they should have then said and of course walt disney thank you or just something like that because even though burny was their longer walt created everything and i was a bit upset they didnt acknoledge walt in the ending credits
"It's 'Walt', son." I can just see the kid wanting to shrink into nothingness. His first words to the man, himself, and they were wrong.
