I feel like it's only natural to feel at least a slight discomfort with situations like this, purely because human beings are comfortable with what is considered to be "the norm" and anything that sits out side of that makes us feel uneasy. People do not like different. Unfortunately it's how we are. However, it is such a shame that so many people allow that discomfort within them to form their opinions and views, and very often, anger. Someone else's happiness is not "gross". What a terrible thing to say. What harm are two people in love to the world? Fuck all. Work through your confusion of the unknown, get over it, and be happy that people are happy. It costs nothing to not be an asshole. How sad that that's too expensive for some people.

His friends and family were the same to me. It's not hard at all. His head is grounded so when it comes to certain things in our lives he gives me his options on personal experiences and I'm able to go from there. He doesn't hold me back he just doesn't want me to make mistakes. July 19th will be 6 years of marriage so it's been great!

i have to ask cause i seem to have this problem in my relationship (with a 11 year gap), but how does it work when it comes to hanging out with friends or wanting to do specific things, either together or with other people. i've been in this relationship for a good 4 years and we rarely if ever hang out with friends together.

That older woman should be ashamed of herself going out with a young girl like that. She is taking advantage of her young naivety which is so easy to do when you have little experience. A self respectful 50 year old would not touch a girl thats just a kid, she can be your daughter, shame on you, find someone older, at least above 30 not a kid who just finished her teen years.
