Listen Dooodo. FBI has no authority in India, so don't act so smart. They are calling over VOIP calls which are very hard and impossible to trace, with scammer voice changed. He only hung up so he can scam someone else, trust me he did not hid in a cave from FBI.
My dad tells the scam caller’s he’s going to get his credit card and will be right back , then goes in another room and watches tv for awhile and returns and says , I’m still looking , hold on. He does this till they hang up.
25 years ago at my business the land line would get about 10 sales calls a day to try and sell me shop equipment that I didn't need. I would come to the phone and say hang on I will go see if I can find him................
A friend of mine handed the phone to their (at the time) toddlers while they went to find something, though I think that was 'microsoft tech center' scam.

I worked for a police training academy. Some idiot called the number with a scam like this. I put him on hold and asked one of the officers to take the call. He picked up the phone and gave his rank and name and the guy hug up.
I also have fun every time I get a scam call. I answer by saying they are calling McDonald's then ask for their order, or they are calling a funeral home. Or I would just answer them in different languages and cursing them in the different languages I know. It's so much fun. But this one is one of the best so far!!! Love it.

The best way I've discovered to get rid of them. And we did this when caller ID first came out in the 80's. Announce the call as a police department. So as an example only, "This is the Los Angeles police department, how may I help you?". Use a nearby city, not your own. Trust me, they will get rid of your number real quick! Not sure if it's legal today to do that, but we still do for the various scams still calling.
😢 You're much better off simply not answering calls or texts from unknown numbers. If you answer, your number gets put on their list of possible targets. I set my phone to block everyone except my contacts. If they're legitimate, they can leave a message.
I love it. I got one of those calls. Actually I think they gave me a number to call or said I could come see the Sargent at a city 100 miles away. The number did not match to any police station public number there so I called a valid number. Sadly they told me it was likely a burner number and they can't follow up as no 'crime' had been committed. I sure hope she was able to scare him out of the gig forever.
You don't really have to go through that there's two of them out there maybe actually three. The one I would recommend for her on the TH-cam is the Scammer Payback, and a guy that runs another show called Pleasant Green if you put that on there in the TH-cam you'll find them you'll see wait a minute I didn't have to do this but she was kind of cool

A note of caution...they are more clever in their deceit than you are. You are unaware of what they are doing, what software they are using, and what they will do even if you give them no information. You think that you are funny and clever but they are great studiers of human nature and will be happy to work that skill to their advantage. Hang up, block the number, and report it to your states attorney general.
This is funny but i highly reccommend that if you are not in the public eye as this reporter is don't put your face on you tube. Some of these operations are ran by very dangerous crime syndicates and not wise to poke the wrong criminal outfit.
NICE ONE ! You could also start by asking for THEIR bank details to make a BACs transfer to them ... THAT will nail their identity to report the account to the police for shutdown. If they say no way, then just say sorry I can't help then.
I keep getting calls with the scammer asking personal questions about whether I have pain or arthritis. So I turn the tables and ask "How about you? Do you have pain? Do you have arthritis?" If they say yes, I commiserate and give suggestions on changing their diet to get rid of the pain. If they say no, I congratulate them. They keep asking, and I keep asking everything they ask me. When they start getting mad I say, "Well you were so nice to call and ask how I am, I thought I should do the same for you. Do you have any other health concerns? How is your family doing?" It's interesting to see how long they keep trying to get me to go along with their intrusive questions before they hang up. I figure after a number of these time-wasting calls I will be taken off their call list.
Once I asked a cold-call salesman about his own phone number, full name, address, email, his company's also, his boss's phone and address, etc. The reason was that "I also sell some things and will get back to you for promotion of my products". Never got bothered again.
These are amateur scammers who get caught like this. Never mess with scammers. They have people with influence and power behind them , otherwise how could millions of people get scammed and government doesn't do Sh** despite using millions of dollars taxpayer money on cybersecurity.
