33:39 Wow, I loved this tutorial! Much appreciated is your methodical A/B approach (esp within Mocha) to show how alternative approaches would work. Just wondering why you used the Mesh Warp on the replacement logo to fake the warping rather than a displacement layer mapped to the actual mesh movement of the shirt.
I have to say that although I have never used Mocha, this is a condensed masterclass that is beautifully clear. I came for the effect but got hooked on the teaching skills. Josh, I don't know if you have courses published but I'll look out for any. Fantastic job. Thank you.
I wonder if the shadows couldn't be done by frame difference and blending with the mask. There might be a plugin already but I don't remember, the brute manual method would be to have the base with a fixed frame with the logo on one layer, the animated with the logo on top, and substract, precomp, then use the comp to subtract from the no logo layer.
Hi, I was just trying to do this and I run into some trouble. Maybe is AE that's glitching, I don't know. When copying the Mocha effect into the precomposed layer it didn't copy the tracking, just the effect. I found a workaround, though, I made the precomp of the copied layer, but left the attributes, then I copied the BASE layer into the new precomp to use as the new Unwarped, which allowed me to "move" the tracking data. I'm sure it's my AE glitching something, I've had trouble with it since the last update, but maybe someone else is having this issue, I leave this workaround if anyone needs it.
This is a really nice tutorial and well explained. Thank you for this....However the whole process is very time consuming.. if we had a bigger project it will takes years
cool tutorials!!! watched a few tutorials... they all had different approaches for the shirt.... this one def looks like the best solution for me... the other tutorials was totally pity each frame had to be edited manually lmao
Unfortunately, to this date I find Mocha non-intuitive and unusable. I would love to believe in the universal chorus of support for it, but I am yet to be convinced it is designed for anyone other than video artists with degrees in computer science. I have the same response to Chris Vranos' "Lockdown".

I wonder if this works with fixing folds of clothing. Currently working on an fashion project that needs to cleanup the pins used on the clothes.

he is using that data. this is just to match the reference frame (in the stabilized comp)
It's mad that this education is just available for free - I've seen people offer paid courses that would teach less.
Love this tutorial! What to do if there are two logos in the video?
What an insane tutorial , thank you

Hi, is it possible to remove hard-coded subtitle from a movie and replace with another language with same or easier method?
