His name was Abu Hamid Ibn Muhammad al-Tusi al-Shafi al-Ghazali and he was honoured with the title of “Hujjatul Islam”, “Proof of Islam”. He was born in 1058 CE (450 AH). His birthplace is the town of Tabran in the district of Tous in the province of Khurasan (Iran).

SubhanAllah. I can’t believe Imam Al Ghazali wrote this a thousand years ago. I’m not surprised at what he’s written due to the level of intelligence and awareness of God that he possessed. I’m surprised at the relevancy of his work in our time and age. InshaAllah I’ll read and understand his works.
