Al-Ghazali believed that the Islamic spiritual tradition had become moribund and that the spiritual sciences taught by the first generation of Muslims had been forgotten. That resulted in his writing his magnum opus entitled Ihya 'ulum al-din ("The Revival of the Religious Sciences"). Among his other works, the Tahāfut al-Falāsifa ("Incoherence of the Philosophers") is a significant landmark in the history of philosophy, as it advances the critique of Aristotelian science developed later in 14th-century Europe.

As we know the most pious person of Allah's was the Prophet P.B.U.H & he said the following to his daughter 👉🏻 l can not save you from hell ( Saḥīḥ Muslim 205 )
( Yet people are relying on other pious people to save them 🤔)

All the four great imams made it very clear to the people if you find a saying of the Prophet P.B.U.H which contradicts what we have taught you ,then REJECT what we taught you
( This proves the target of all four imams was to direct us to the Quran & Hadith )
The reality is all those people who claim they are following a imam have actually proved they are not following any imam by ignoring what they said
Allah says whatever the Prophet gives you take it & whatever he forbids you leave it ( Quran 59:7 )
Allah did not say whatever the imam gives you take it, & Allah did not say whatever the imam forbids you from stay away from it

They teach his temporary death was a sacrifice for sin, like the goat killed for Azazel. Islam teaches that there is no power or might without Allah. The Christians rely on opinions of theologians who taught that Jesus was God's Word, "son", and assign to him the act of creation.
@@thetruthwithproof8802 The Christians have a teaching that to blaspheme the Holy Spirit is the unpardonable sin. It does not make sense, only God can be blasphemed. According to some it means to attribute the actions of the Holy Spirit to another, to satan. Either way there is a clear distinction between the Holy Spirit and God in the Bible. The Holy Spirit is "sent" after the ascension.
I believe this is a distortion of the correct teaching that apostasy to shirk after belief is unpardonable.
@@thetruthwithproof8802 Muslims do believe that wasila is the highest degree in Jannah, meaning "intercession" and ask that Allah give it to the Prophet, for example the dua of adhan. But this is different. Only God can save because la hawl wa la quwata ila bi-Allah.

Imam Al Ghazali and Imam Ibn Taymmiyah, my 2 favourite scholars.
I know they have different views on many things, but personally for me Al Ghazali was the one that gave me the push to practice Islam, and Ibn Taymmiyah is the one that makes my iman stronger.
I wish more Taymiyah was translated. Ibn Kathir is good enough, though. I prefer alGhazali
They are my 2 favourite scholars too, outside the golden generation - both of their works are truly exceptional

I recommend reading the Secrets of Fasting in the first 1/4 of the Ihya Ulum ad-Din for Ramadan. It is good to understand the reasons why we do what we do and this is a great source. السلام عليكم

Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, "Any person who takes a bath on Friday like the bath of Janaba and then goes for the prayer (in the first hour i.e. early), it is as if he had sacrificed a camel (in Allah's cause); and whoever goes in the second hour it is as if he had sacrificed a cow; and whoever goes in the third hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed a horned ram; and if one goes in the fourth hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed a hen; and whoever goes in the fifth hour then it is as if he had offered an egg. When the Imam comes out (i.e. starts delivering the Khutba), the angels present themselves to listen to the Khutba."-sahih bukhari

Ibn teymiyah is not someone which can criticise Imam Al-Ghazali. Al-Ghazali his books are pure righteous no doubt.
I student of Al-Juwayni cant be criticised by Teymiyah

AlGhazali’s first name was Muhammad too. But he’s usually referred to as Abu Hanifa.
