Yes! The pressure applied while forming a cakepop is an acquired skill!!! Could you explain what you mean when you say stock order for your at home bakery? Does that mean you have some made and ready to pick up anytime?
Yes! For example, for macarons, that month I may only have a few select flavours ready on the go for pickup and it would be slightly cheaper since it's the flavour available for that month that I don't have to make custom.
How do you prevent the ball shaped ones from breaking / cracking apart when you do try to put the stick in ? Especially since they are rolled so nice tight they look great now..
I have a trick that I will show you in a follow up video! It also depends on the original mixture. If it’s solid, but moist the stick will pierce through AND stick size matters!!
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe you are amazing , so I made mini geo piñata cakes ,cakesicles and piñata cake /breakable heart .If I want to eat them for tomorrow do I put them in the fridge or freezer ?
Sugar cookie question: do you think you will make a video with your royal icing recipe? Also, do you have to let your outline dry first before flooding your cookie? Thank you so so much🥰
Hope you don't mind me answering. Don't let it dry. You want the flooding to blend with the outline. I sometimes use flood consistency to outline, if using too many colours to make med & flood of each, and let the outline sit for 30 seconds to firm a bit before flooding. Creates a nice barrier. Hope this helps.
Thank you for this informative video, you cleared some things up for me. After watching this video, I went looking for how you coat the cake pops video, but have not been able to find it. Would you please send me a link so I can follow your directions. Thank you so much!
So the cake pops won't ever really go 'bad', you'll most likely have to look out or crystallization and freezer burn. I wouldn't freeze it with the chocolate on it because when the cake expands and contracts it can cause breakage in the chocolate.
You have to make sure to use a lower quality butter ( the expensive butter has a deeper gold color so make sure to use the cheap kind that’s lighter in color) you also have to make sure to whip it for longer🥰🥰

❤wonderful this great and Weldon 😢😮❤❤❤
How do you level your ice cream scoop?
Just scrape it off like you would when measuring flour 💕🥰
Was wondering is it possible for shipping purposes to freeze cake pops and cake sickles already decorated and packaged?
I wouldn't only because the expanding and contracting of the cake causes the chocolate to crack or sweat. Happy baking! :)
Are you using a normal size Icecream scoop leveled off before you roll into balls.. Or are you using a minnie scoop?
Mini! The normal size is far too heavy for the stick 🥰💕
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe thank you
What size scoop do you use?
As an at home bakery that doesn't have a lot of clients, how long can these freeze for?
I would say you're still good to go at about the 3 month mark if you've placed them in the container properly :)

Only if you dip it from frozen! Let it rest in the fridge for a bit before dipping
Ah, thanks. I did that and they still managed to crack. I'll let them rest longer next time
Great idea! However, how does the freezing affects the flavor and texture of the cake pops?
