Morning Elaine flowers will be fab. And the Turks turbans are so cute ☺️. Can’t wait to start the cross the pond onion battle 😂with Pete and the gang. Your pumpkins 🎃 are awesome. Have a super day, it’s pouring here 👍👍, Ali ☔️☔️🇨🇦
@myrustygarden pouring here too Ali. Not very pleasant. What an onion competition it will be grin. The pumpkins have turned out okay. Nice colour. Let's see about a pumpkin pie. I'm going to search a few recepies. Stay dry, Elaine 🌱🧅🧅🧅🧅🌧🌧
@traceysallotment2506 The squash are hanging on. I suppose it won't be long when all that bad weather arrives. I love my cosmos too. It will be sad when they go. They've probably dropped loads of seed so they will be back next year with vengeance, lol. I'm thinking about showing the pumpkin but don't know how heavy it will be lol. I'll jeep you posted xx
Hi Elaine I love heleniums, they look awesome. I will definitely get some when I sort out my garden 😄. I hope the seedlings do great, plenty of squash too. Invitation Swede and all year round did well for me.👌😄👍
@nickthegardener.1120 Hi Nick. I find swede like plain dirt, unlike in my raised beds. Picky eh? Lol. I've put in kohlrabi, all year round and brussels. I've got to think further on as I don't want the onions bed blocking lol. If all else fails and we don't like squash, there's always Halloween. The heleniums look pretty and perennial. Year on year food source for pollinatirs. 😁👍🌼🌼
Those carrots 🥕 are looking fantastic and your Christmas potatoes are doing much better than mine, will you bring them into the greenhouse at some point, or will they survive outside? Take care, Pete.
@Petetrenouth Hi Pete. Always one eye on the night time temperatures. Frost will hammer them and if you leave them outside in minus temperatures, by time the potato ice lolly thaws, you've got mush so beware. I'd take them in later on. 🥔🥔🥔🥔
@Petetrenouth Hopefully the Christmas potatoes work out. Never grown Jazzy before. Still, I've got loads of potatoes in buckets to empty. I'm cautiously optimistic about the carrots but I haven't had them covered from carrot root fly. I've got a few others to harvest on the other plot. How's your pumpkins getting on?
👍👍👍
