The power in this song is out of this world. Power is not how strong you are, but how you can go from fragile and powerless to regaining strength. This song is like regaining your power. I did a cover of this (female version), it'll never be in Dermot Kennedys league, but I couldn't not play and sing this song myself, I couldn't just let it pass by me. The things we treasure most in life we will keep close.

this is really such an amazing song.. always makes me cry though. last summer i saw this after seeing it in a dance show and downloaded it and listened to it a few times, then about an hour later i got a call that my aunt died, we were so close, i lived with her. i know the lyrics of this song talk about death, and the title is an evening at will not forget. ironically, it seems like this song was made for my exact situation that night, and i’ll never understand fully why i found this particular song that night. there isn’t any other song that has ever had as much of a personal meaning and has such raw emotion in it, i don’t even know how to describe it. it’s just so incredibly moving. especially because i feel attached to it in some way. forever this will be one of my favourite songs 💛 💛

I can't believe how wonderful this guy is ? I'm a huge fan of Lewis capaldi and strangley ed sheeran.. they all have such beautiful songs. I know people wont agree, but it doesn't matter, for different reasons they are all great. There has been such mediocre music of late. A few years I mean. Now we have great talent that is here for some time I hope.
This is absolutely beautiful. I listen to it all the time.
