Thanks for your review! Looks very interesting, especially since the Go XLR collapsed. Hope they will continue support, otherwise I afraid to update my stream pc
Thank you. It´s an awesome review and the AVerMedia is a strong contender now. Could you please share your opinion on the Mackie M-Caster Studio? Especially the sound-quality hasn't really been reviewed or talked about in other videos. I recently had the chance to purchase it for only 60€ (super cheap - I know). Anyway, since I am not experianced with audio tech, it'll be great to hear a professionals pov. Because it's Mackie it should be good, I guess...?
@@DarkenedCyrus i have one of Avermedias 4k capture cards I do like there capture cards over the elgato ones but there software is pretty bad. I am wondering if the software you get with this is equality as bad or better?
@pkerry12 it’s not as good as Elgato, but for what it offers, it’s fantastic. I will say they are planning to do some optimization and updates, so I’d feel good about it
Hey bro, if I was going to buy a mini pc to allow me to stream off my console. Is there anything I can buy to allow me to use my kbm on my Xbox and mini pc without having to unplug the kbm. Btw love the videos!!
Thanks for the love! Yes, it’s called a KVM Switch. You plug your keyboard and mouse into that switch. The switch has one USB port that will plug into each device and you switch your keyboard/mouse input between devices using a toggle button
so, with this thing we still need the phantom power 48v for the mic? i heard its a mixer + stream deck but i didnt understand the part of the sound if it requires the phantom for the mic or not
can this solve my dual pc audio ? from my streaming pc and gaming pc ? i use the elgato hd 60 pro 4kmk for that but i want better clear audio from this ? can i do a dual pc setup with this
😮😅 $399 ouch! Even on sale $299 that's a lot of money. I love how all these companies just think we are just made of money. Shit I can't even get 10 people into my streams let alone get 50 followers or 5 people chatting.
Totally agree with you. I cover a lot of budget options on this channel, but for those looking for that upgrade and want XLR, Stream Deck, and more? I think this is a great upgrade. The budget option is to use the Stream Deck app on your phone or free options for Android and get the Fifine mixer I covered for 50$
@@DarkenedCyrus yeah i know about the fifine mixer but unfortunately im currently streaming from my xbox series s. I can't even afford to use lightstream to add the overlay and alerts. But eventually i plan to get that fifine mixer and the fifine am8 once once i get a capture card and a pc that can handle the capture card and obs.
@@dflctrq8881I don't said that I hate him, but I don't like that he says "X" (it's Twitter) or also that he mentions a Cloudlifter, cause you should always use a Fethead instead, so I'm just nitpicky xD
Lol, it is Twitter and no reason you can’t use a fethead or a cloudlifter. IMO, if you don’t have room for a fethead because of mic design, cloudlifter is the way to go. Also, a fethead isn’t as popular of a preamp tool and using terminology that a majority of people know is a way of making connections and meeting people where they are. And it’s ok if you don’t like me 👍
@@DarkenedCyrus Nah, it's not that I don't like you, it was honestly rather meant as a funny response to the guy, then condescending or something like that, so sorry if it sounded so 😅 The thing with the Cloudlifter is that I just don't like it if people only mention that without also mentioning a Fethead, cause maybe there are some people who only know about the former or think it is better, while a Fethead gives you exactly the same for a much cheaper price. And mic design? Well, then you just attach it to the interface.

From the discussions I’ve had, it seems to be around for a while. They just did a firmware update not even 2 months ago
You think this is good for Dj’s and dj controllers and standalone units? Live streaming
Is the app the only thing thats been updated? Its over 2 years old at this point. Are they trying to use this review to just get rid of old stock?

hey man I'm looking for a cheap-ish mixer that will let me do what the goxlr mini does with the split channels do you have any recommendations
Does this work on Xbox? Your videos are amazing btw!!!
Bought this 3 months ago now it lives on my unused tech rack in the basement sadly. Sell the idea to elgato and ill pay $350 for in an instant
Are you able to individually control the game and chat sound seperatly?
Yep!
Great review.
Thank you!
is this a good GoXLR replacement how does it go with a SM7B mic?
I believe it is. It has a preset for the SM7B you can download in their effects store that worked great for me as an out of box experience.
