Dryskin DWR is pretty resilient. Just Nikwax/Granger's technical wash up to 60c and double rinse (warm water helps maintain and revive shape for Dryskin) then tumble dry. If you ever have to reimpregnate DWR I think you need to use Nikwax Soft Shell Proof.
Thank you for the review! I‘ve been thinking about buying the ones with the cargo pockets in ds a lot in the past months. I couldn’t find any pictures of the fit of the pants with low top shoes but now I’ve seen something and I think I will probably cop them now. Thanks a lot! Keep up the great work!
Corbin :) I‘ve received them 2 days ago and I am sooo happy I got them. I think I won‘t be able to wear pants without schoeller dryskin ever again. This fabric is so stretchy and cozy. I can move very easily without any restrictions. I love the looks of the pants as well although I was a little bit worried about the leg opening not being tight enough for my likings but I think it works perfectly fine with how the fabric stacks. The shoes and pants interaction is also very great. I wear them with my Salomon XT-6 and it just looks very good imo. I think the cargo varient is very versatile as well. I am so glad I picked them up. Thanks for the video again.
Where I live winters go from 0° C (32°f) to 10° C (50° f) and summers go from 25° C (77°f) to 38° C (100° f). But the weather is very humid, so winter may feel colder and summer may feel hotter. I wanted to know how the Ameztus in dryskin would work in this location. Mostly, in what temperature ranges would they still be comfortable, considering the humidity. I know they are supposed to be breathable, but I'm not sure about their weight and overall thickness, specially in a humid summer. What do you guys think?
@@pabloqueima i don't know about humidity, my pair is in dryskin and lined with Merino wool and wore them a couple days ago in 17 C° and i wouldn't go above that, my legs were feeling quite hot. Can't speak for the normal lining
Just got mine today. Much bigger than I expected, perhaps could have given custom measurements, but I kinda dig it. Baggy pants are in rn anyway so 🤷🏼♂️
@@corbincore I got an XL, which was great for my 36" waist, but I didn't account so much for the length! I'm only 183cm so I'm gonna email and see if I can't pay for alterations 🤔
STREET SAMURAI I am happy with my pair of ameztus. I wouldn’t spend twice the amount for a similar pair of pants. I don‘t know if the quality of acronym is really that great... (better than enfin levé)
@@eqal6488 I've read that the quality is pretty much on par with each other. I'd be getting acronym mainly to finally be able to say I own acronym and for the design. I'm still going back and forth. Did you get the merino dryskin ones?
It's funny how the brand is from Berlin but all the model names are words in Basque language. As a Basque I'm utterly confused. Ameztu in particular means "dream"
Corbin nah doesn’t even matter dont trip just do you man. just didnt want the other dude to be a stickler then proceed to provide you with the wrong pronunciation
To take care of fabrics you don't know how to deal with is better to ask where you bought it. Handwash with gentle soap, dry in the shadow, wash them as little as possible, air them if they smelly and not dirty/sweaty. Sometimes a quick rinse with cold/warm water will do the trick. Using a soft first layer in winter will make it last longer without a proper wash.
thank you!!!! Generally I try to avoid washing my most valued clothing just to preserve the quality as long as possible! I've messed up before when washing a couple of nice pieces and it forever changed them
@@corbincore until 10 years ago we didn't had an automatic washing machine at home. And colors didn't fade so quickly as now that we own one. But strechy materials last longer if you put them in those mesh bags for delicate clothes.
Finally pulled the trigger on these and I love them. Super glad you put this video out, I probably wouldn't have bought them otherwise

nikwax seems like the go-to product. noted for sure
Love the feel of DS in pants. Love that you can custom-ish with EL. good review as always bro.
Thank you man! It's a great fabric for pants! perhaps a bit too lightweight or outerwear
Great video! I like those pants. Hey, could you provide a link to those thicker black masks that you have? I'd like to order them

What are your measurements and weight and what size did you purchase? Thanks, Giacomo
What glasses are you wear in the thumbnail, I have been looking for large round mens glasses for a while now.
I recommend Nikwax Techwash for any technical fabrics and DWR treated garments.
nikwax products seem like the move for sure!
What is the long jacket / coat from the thumbnail
uniqlo blocktech convertible coat! i'm not sure they make it anymore but you could snag a used one for a good deal
love my pair aswell, but its getting too hot to wear them right now, but cant wait for fall/winter.
I feel that man. it's consistently around 86-96 degrees farenheit and im tired of it lol

When the dwr runs out use nikwax tech wash clean via cold cycle then dry it out with a dryer to reactivate the water resist techwash

They look fire with acronym prestos.
this is a true statment
Did you request custom sizing or go with the standard sizing?
I got a standard medium!
