    I love your excitement for the brand, so refreshing in a sea of recent disappointment and pedanticism from the community and dope that you showed off the acg stuff too.
    Really nice, well paced showcase & cool styling - love the cut of your cav shirt!
    Sorry to hear about your back seizure, something I've experienced a couple of times too (both times in acronym too lol), shit is scary.

      Thank you! I think that hater type attitude is almost normal in fashion communities no matter the brand haha.
      Yeah I love cav empt big tees, I might manage to do a full cav empt video one day.
      As for the back seizure it was just a funny random incident I felt like mentioning haha. Although I won’t be laughing if it happens again

    I thourougly enjoyed the video, I find myself watching these Acronym videos over again, because there is so little content about them. So, this was a joy to watch.
    I also started with ACG Cargo pants, but then bought my first pair, the P31A-DS used on Jawnflip, (now Reversible) at the time. The features like the dual belt system, the phone pockets and the pant material was such a big step over regular jeans/pants.
    After buying P44-DS and P39-M too, also on 18Montrose sale, gosh I miss them stocking the brand. I really fell in love with the pants after those.
    I love scoring good deals on Acronym, I've never paid full retail for the items, and will never do I think. You just gotta be patient, that's all it takes.
    So I delved further into the pants category, like the P30AL-DS and my latest was the P48-CH.
    Now for the summertime, I daily drive the P48-CH all the time, and sometimes the P39-M.

    • @jackapots
      @jackapots  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! I went to some ridiculous detail with this video so it's good to know it's reaching thee right people.
      18Montrose touched so many lives with their sales haha. I had the p48s bookmarked and still do, might be quite a while until I pay full price for acronym trousers though with the amount of sales I see cropping up as you said.
      P39s are a great summer trouser, so simple but with enough ACR features to keep you happy.

    I currently own 2 pairs of acronym trousers, P30A-DS and P39M. I used to wear them both pretty equally as the 39s are a slim fit trouser that I wore as part of a work uniform, but since switching jobs I quite literally only wear the P30s now. I couldn't see myself purchasing another pair of pants in my entire life, they're perfect for pretty much all weather conditions where I live (tri-state area USA) as well as social conditions, outside of formal events or funerals. my current job doesn't require a work uniform, so everybody knows me as the guy with the ninja pants. the anti-microbeal nature of the dryskin is seriously some cyberpunk future fabric, I wish the 39s were anywhere near on par but it is what it is. super glad there's at least one other insane person that could talk ab acrnm pants all day. subscribed

      Yeah the p30s are very much a complete realisation of almost everything acronym does pant wise. I was the same when I first got them and wore them for almost two straight years every day. Thanks for subbing!

    been in the acronym game for ages and my progression was from pants with a lot of pockets to the sleek pants with almost no pockets that flow well like
    p27, p25, p17 i wear them more then something like a 23 or 30
    and yes for 3/4 pants mode you'll def need longer socks otherwise it looks awkward in some cases

    Great overview! Coincidentally- my first pair of Acronym trousers arrived yesterday via eBay- P10A -E, also my first Acronym product. Have to say I’m very impressed, probably my favourite trousers. They are unused, and l only paid £275, so a good bargain 👍 Of course now I’m planning my next purchase, I’d like a J1 - but all the current models have a wide fit, which I’m unsure about 🤷‍♂️

    • @jackapots
      @jackapots  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Amazing price on those! I have one of the wide model J1s which I covered in an earlier video, honestly the wide fit hasn't bothered me much at all. If you could find one for a good price it'd be worth it! I found mine for half off at £829, paying the retail which is double that is absurd tbh

      Thank you! I really appreciate that. With the p30s I find that they don't look so crazy in the real world as they do on stock Acronym website pictures. The diaper look from the back is inevitable but you've got to just rock it. My friends love to joke about it though haha.

    Great video man! I have Woven Nike ACG pants (2019 version so non Errolson collab) in black and when I bought them the color was really faded, but the pants take dyes very well. I used the one that you just toss into the washing machine (Simplicol in my case) and they looked good as new, so I think this would be the case for these as well. They started to fade a bit again but I've worn them for quite a while and love them a lot.
    Also note, the ACG logo becomes black too but it honestly looks better (you can still see it as it's embroided).

    • @jackapots
      @jackapots  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      True! Might depend on the material, I also have a pair of ACG cargos post Errolson Hugh's collaboration from Summer 2019 in a 'Moon Particle' colourway.
      I don't wear any of my acg pairs now, the Acronym ones just have better features imo.

    I never knew that about the mesh material inside the phone pockets. After trying it myself, I imagine that they removed it due to how finicky it is/was. I struggled to get my S23 with a case underneath it, but eventually it worked. Interesting note: this mesh material is the same material used on the cuffs/chest pocket of the J117-HL/EX.

    god damn, peep the turbos! i started with 34 in alpha green ds, then 39 in coyote m, 41 in raf ds, sp29 in black m, and then 30al in black ds. I've been v curious abt the 23ads, and appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the multi-color, i've got the same thoughts, like it's a more difficult wardrobe synergy, but any bw top and bw shoe looks good with it imo. also curious about the 10a's i'd like to know if cargos are big enough to carry a water bottle. great video! i'm sure it's gonna be helpful for prospective buyers.

      Yeah I have every acronym Lunar Force, they're my favourite shoes! I'll probably do a video about acronym shoes next. P23A-DS look great in that one fit I have for them, but it's one fit haha. I definitely have my doubts about P10As being able to hold a water bottle tbh. Thank you!

    • @axelgunnar6431
      @axelgunnar6431 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have 3 critiques on the p23ads. Number one is ironically enough the weight distribution in the pockets. An airpod case will flail around wildly in the top pocket and not much better on the other one. When I use them I opt to store weighty thing in my jacket and small things like a key, cables or tissues in the pants. The second critique is the ankle. I went for small at first (177, 70kg ) and the ankles rode up a ton when bending the knee. Sizing up to medium fixed it mostly but anytime I raise my leg near or above the knee I have to do the leg shake you do when youre covertly buildning a tunnel and need to discretely discard material. Third and final point. I love DS but goddamn I dont get it when they say its abrasion resistant. Ive read that on some places. I was playing tug of war with my 2kg dog with my knees on the floor for maybe 20 min and the material melted from the friction from the floor. Got some extra DS from Acronym which would have cost around 80 euro from Schoeller, so thats nice. All in all, theyre like the p30 lite and I see them on the same plane in terms of functionality. The roomier fit, bigger pockets and removable cuffs of the p30 gives them a slight edge over the p23 but the p23 are definitely excellent.

    Best pant video ever!
    P30 still confuses me, I had a p30a-e, the older one in L. I'm 183 cm and it still felt short uncuffed even if I wore them at my hips, even though I like to wear pants at my waist. I sold them because of that.
    Do you wear them at hips or waist? I've been considering getting them in XL so I could wear them at waist. Also does anyone know the outseam cuffed in XL? They don't list cuffed length on the site.

      @jackapots  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for saying it's the best pant video ever! That was definitely my goal when making it.
      With the p30s I SHOULD wear them at my hips but I have a habit of pulling them up to my waist which makes them finish a bit too early on my leg. I have to correct myself on this all the time, I totally get where you're coming from.
