thanks for uploading this icstallions. for the most part i agree with you about crossing genres of music when it comes to tinkering around with music. but this style is the only exception. i heard some group do a verison of high hopes in a heavy metal style. two chords into it i had to turn it off. floyd is the ultimate multimedia group. even in a visual sense. pink floyd paintings and drawings are the most unique and beautifully rendered artwork around.
@WTFRawrtube They're not instrumental covers of pink floyd, they're symphonic interpretations. And if you can't hear the resemblance to Another Brick in the Wall Pt II then something is wrong with your hearing
How many orchestra versions are there of this song? I keep browsing through youtube but i can't find the one im looking for. I used to have it on casette, and i think it featured "when the tigers broke free" with a much deeper voice (almost sounded like it was Ray Charles singing.
I love Pink Floyd and this song, this interpretation is better than the original imo, those deep strings are bad ass and the flow is amazing.
2021 and still just as beautiful as the first time I heard it.
What an amazing version of an amazing song. I have this CD too and I love it!
Hot damn, this is good.

@xXxShifterWolfxXx i get the goose flesh every time i hear it.
MAGNIFIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Doesn't sound very much like the original. It might as well have been based on something else
bloody CRAP compared to the LSO version. Its too repetitive and the main theme just does not develop into anything else.
