My dad David Swales sat telling the joke in the Baggin. We lost my dad in 2016, and love that we can watch this to hear my dads voice and see him.

Paul Shane a wonderful comedian, actor and human being, thanks for this great video which I've never seen before. Also Sandy Powell ventriloquist act was hilarious.

RIP New Stubbin Colliery and Kilnhurst too. Templeborough Steelworks where my Dad worked for 23 years. And, even though it was in Sheffield, as a kid I loved the "Hole In The Road especially at Christmas. On my way to REDGATES .

My first pint was at THE STAG, A pint of STONES' MILD about 56 pence, in 1983. (Top of Herringthorpe Valley Road).... a pleasant walk uphill from Reresby Drive. Or after the Herringthorpe Pitch And Putt .....
Special mention to my Pops local, which was THE HIND .
And .... Next door to the THOMAS ROTHERHAM COLLEGE, .... THE BELVEDERE.... Serving CASTLE EDEN BITTER.....

Not shy eh. You wouldn't be shy of a criminal record these days for such proximity and physical contact with minors.
