- Commandant Pravin Gaur of the Coast Guard never thought he would be outmanoeuvred by the primitive Sentinelese tribesmen but he was. With a crew of four, he flew to North Sentinel Island in 2006 to retrieve the bodies of two fishermen who had been killed after getting stranded there. His helicopter was attacked by arrows and spears and he couldn't land the first time round. So he tried to divert their attention. He flew 1.5 km away and, as he expected, the Sentinelese men ran after the chopper. He then swung back, landed near the place where the two bodies were buried in the sand and his crew actually managed to dig the bodies out. They noticed the men had been strangulated. But the Sentinelese came back and the chopper had to lift off to safety. Commandant Gaur tried to outsmart the Sentinelese again. But failed. The bodies of the two fishermen are still on the island. American John Allen Chau's body could well meet the same fate.

My trainer starts training at 8 am and then end at 12 pm even in summers and from 5 pm to 8pm. He even doesnot let us to drink even 1 litre of water then u will feel what is real health. Even my underwear is drips due to sweat. They are conditioned to this. I tell u what u cant even stand i hr in sun in summer.

The fact that they dragged his body with a rope instead of touching it suggests the Sentinelese knew about the potential deadly diseases from the outside world. If so, killing him was purely an act of self defense.
They had previous warning of this danger when in the 19th century, some of their tribes people were kidnapped by Europeans. Again, in the 70s, when anthropologists left them gifts including a dead pig, they took most of the other gifts but buried the pig.

There is no question John Chau was repeatedly warned& well aware he was breaking the law and endangering both himself& the natives by defying that law approaching North Sentinel island at least 3 separate times by his own admission, recorded in his own journal, which is part of the public record.

The sentinelese must have some sort of knowledge of the evils and illnesses that lie waiting beyond the shores of their small island enclave. They cannot be attacking all Interlopers simply because they think that they are evil spirits or for any other superstitious reason.

Angela Dana well what happened was long ago people came to the island at first the people were excited and greeted the newcomers. The newcomers showed the tribe many amazing things and there was peace. One day one of them got sick and they blamed the newcomers so they were cast off the island. That’s exactly what happened.

They are intelligent people that's why they have survived on a small island for last 60000 years. They must have seen many boats and ships crossing at a distance from the shore of senitel island. They must have good ideas about the outside world, despite of that, they want to be isolated and reserved in themselves. Their will should be respected and must be left alone. However, some incident like someone undesirably or unknowingly wandered there and get killed, it must be dealt according to the law of the land where they have been given a special provision. Recovering bodies from there is an intricate task as you have to do that without retaliation from your side. however, administration can make them understand first to relieve the body or otherwise they can use least harmful method like tear gas to keep them at a safe distance and in the meantime quickly recover the body. If they can plan and work in a strategic manner, it is possible. Although it's best to suppress your curiosity and leave them where they are with just whatever we know about them. This will be a tribute to our last surving community of primitive era.

Praise the Lord for Chau, he was carrying the gospel to them. I can promise he did this out of love. He got all his vaccines and even quarantined for a few weeks. When you have Jesus you are capable of such a deeper love for others.
