It's hard to have sympathy for him. These precious people have been living on this island since they left Africa, over 60,000 years ago. I just recently became a born again Christian and watching this story unfold is making me reconsider. Everything Chau did is in line with Evangelical thought and dogma, and I can't in good conscience agree with what he did. What he thought of as preaching the good news to me seems like a form of mental illness.
