Stand around 90% of the time? Try working a water main break in the winter sub zero, you would want double whatever these guys are being paid. I have worked for the water department in a large city and it’s hard work. The standing around is for 1 safety and 2 the physically demand of the job working with heavy tools you need to pace yourself.
@@rodpreston100gosh that water is splattered in the saw blade that’s why that saw can’t cut the big pipe that’s wired lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

We use that one when there is rocks the size of my head in the ditch , otherwise they get stuck in the rubber flexible tubes , then we gotta shut down and try to get them out, then people think we are just standing around
@@rodpreston100 but if you are going to toss the rocks that won't go in the smaller tube then toss the ones that won't go in the bigger tube.less work .we have a vacall

No thrust block behind the hydrant vertical elbow? Or threaded rods across the horizontal joint?
Thrust blocks on the back of the hydrant and at the back of the tee, never used threaded rod with star grips 🍻😁
