There was this 15-year old girl I knew who got a kiss from Elvis back in 1972. That girl is 65-years old now and remembers it like it was yesterday. That girl was me. What a glorious memory.........Thank you Elvis💋💋💋

@@brandyreacts It was at the Oakland Coliseum. He was wearing his Thunderbird suit. He looked gorgeous. My dad knew the manager of the Coliseum and we were able to go backstage in this hallway area before the performance. There was probably 50 people there when Elvis showed up but he met everyone and I got my kiss.

Dear Elvis died in 1977. A devastating loss to world. It warms my heart to see young people today discovering him, appreciating his incredible talent, and falling in love with him after all these years. It keeps his memory alive. I miss him. ❤️❤️❤️
My grandma and mom were huge Elvis fans. I discovered Elvis when I was 12. This was in 1996. I fell in love with Elvis he was so handsome. Saw 57 Elvis in a movie for the first time. So my grandma and mom took me to see an Elvis impersonator in Myrtle Beach SC. He was amazing not as good as the real Elvis but as close as I could get in 1996. My grandma and mom paid for him to give me a kiss on the cheek while he was performing. I thought I would die right there. I can only dream of what it must have been like to kiss the real Elvis. Love your reaction. So great to see the next generation keeping Elvis alive.
With the REAL Elvis you didn't have to pay to get a kiss, other than for a ticket to see him live in person.

My mom went to his concert when she was 16. She said many teens were passing out and they had to call ambulances.
I'm so obsessed over elvis I was only 6yrs old when he died, but my mom was a big elvis fan I remember her playing his records all the time when I was growing up, so I grew to love elvis at a young age.. he was definitely an amazing entertainer and so dang handsome, he died way too young

Elvis paid Jackie's Hospital Bills when Jackie became Ill.

I visited my sister and her new husband in Vegas, where they were living in 1973. We were both in our early 20's.
My Sis and I were going to go see Elvis !! It was expensive, though & we'd both saved up. Her husband wouldn't let her go .. he said she had taken the money from the grocerybudget.
I couldn't go without her, so we stayed home, watched a movie and cried some. Her husband left to meet some of his friends & as you can imagine, they divorced soon after.
KILL ME!! You'd literally HAVE TO if you were in any way, out of cruelty or a petty selfish power play, responsible for the inescapable agony of my bitter beaten heart. I'd say her ex either 'liked it rough'

I saw him twice when he toured Virginia. He just had a magic about him. He had started kissing women every time they played "Love me Tender" There were always women lined up against the stage. I wanted to go up there so bad, but my husband was with me. darn. Even my husband had to admit he was truly beautiful, more in person. My husband became a fan the night.

Elvis was the first to establish the residency in Las Vegas for modern performers. Before that older acts like Sinatra and his Rat Pack ruled the strip. But to watch Elvis light up his audience up close and personal watch him sing TRYING TO GET TO YOU, from his 68 Comeback Special. His voice is on point and ladies are excited to be so close him. Some of Elvis' rehearsal material was as good if not better than some live stuff in my opinion. Elvis was cool though. Whenever someone would offer him the key to the city or something, he would say "does the key open the vault too?" Always something funny. The band were always playing pranks too. They used to throw marbles on stage sometimes just to see who could almost break their neck. Elvis throwing water on his piano player (Glenn Hardin) was always interesting. He was a down to earth guy and a humanitarian. That's what made a lot of people like him more than other celebrities.
