You'd think they'd make more alternate JoyCons, like a JoyCon that has a D-pad instead of seperate buttons just to give people the option. (Though the Pro Controller has a fine enough D-Pad so I guess that works too)

If nintendo wanted to do good marketing they would've mentioned the cheaper price. The only reason not to is if it still is expensive or they haven't come up with a price yet

Yeah, it's kind of like the same reasons the 2DS was made: cheap and harder to break (the hinges). But, they'd have to sacrifice certain games, detachable controllers, TV usability, and Labo sets.

Their target audience are people like me: people who do not want/need to have multi play with others and do not require to be able to play on a TV. I'm a PC games through and through and i have no need for the extra/main features the normal switch offers, so why pay extra? The switch lite is perfect for people like me

I played a lot of Odyssey with an 8bitdo SN30 Pro, it had regular rumble and it worked fine. Never missed hd rumble, seems like a gimmick to me.

Yeah, it's kind of like the same reasons the 2DS was made: cheap and harder to break (the hinges). But, they'd have to sacrifice certain games, detachable controllers, TV usability, and Labo sets.

I'm a PC games through and through and i have no need for the extra/main features the normal switch offers, so why pay extra? The switch lite is perfect for people like me
