Eastern Orthodox and Protestants which branched off from the Roman church carry many of the heretical doctrines that came out of Catholicism. I was raised Catholic and know it's history. I became a born-again Christian (a biblical Christian) 10 years ago. Catholicism is riddled with gnostic teachings and is what I consider mysticism and not biblical Christianity. In the Catholic church you are taught a different gospel and another Jesus. Salvation does not come through Catholic penance but through Godly repentance which comes by faith in Christ, God's son and first born of many brethren.

A high official of the Catholic Church in NYC voted on partial birth unborn baby murders. As far as I know, the pope in Rome was silent about it. Any church that decides to go along with the world and the desires of the flesh are false.
