There is a lot of difference between Pariyan and Karnan
Pariyan: Fights for his individual identity and felt in a trauma
Karnan : Fights for his town or society. Collective issue. Angry Young man Character
Pariyan: Era, were he got everything, but lacks in identity and opportunity
Karnan: Era, were nothing.Starting from the scratch. He is facilitating a society and Town (just like a dynasty)
Pariyan was calm , because of Karnan's sword
It's my opinion or interpretation.
Wonderful comparison... Which none of them mentioned over there... But just one small correction Karnan didn't build a dynasty he tried to facilitate his dynasty agaisnt extinction(just a small correction)... But as a movie they said compactness was missing because of which it didnt create an impact which Pariyerum Perumal created... what they said is That compactnes emoted us more when compared to the loose packed presentation of Karnan... Doesn't mean Karnan didn't emote at all even I got emotional at few scenes... But Pariyerum Perumal emoted more... Still that movie has an impact in our view towards society like a slipper shot... That's the difference

This guy Abhishek is one among them who tries to masquerade as a genius; Baradwaj, on the contrary, he knows everything but never tends to prove that he’s a national award-winning film critic. He respects everybody’s opinion, and that is the reason for why he’s one of the the best film critic in India.

WE WATCHED THIS MOVIE IN SINGAPORE - SUMMA APPADI IRUNDHUCHU In DOWNTOWN EAST MALL - Weekend show entire audience oru slient and applause pannanga, and the feel from 1 still last it gave was terrific .... U couldn't connect because u wouldn't know or felt what is oppression, when it was done by our own race who speak same language.... Simple ah sonna " Eliyavan Vali Ungalukku Puriya Vaaipu kammi"
Dear Baradwaj sir, I appreciate many of ur deep observation in the movie. But in your opinion the character draupathi has no role to play. But I don't think it so.
Because that character also have big important moments. For example ,after dhanush's army selection ,for first time dhanush directly involves in bus conflict which happens only after he See draupathi in bus, because he don't want draupathi to get down in Melur where the women from his village keep on humiliated. That too he does not want to happen this girl who likes him most. If she was not there in bus at that time the conflict may not get started there.
And in another point ,only after draupathi failed to understand karnan 'S point of view about his fight with yogibabu, karnan drunk and got fought with his sister, all these incidents makes karnan more frustrated which further aggravated by the kabadi incident led to the final explosion of interval block.
So Instead we see the individual character alone, in my opinion if we see it along with narration of mari selvaraj, many characters even the worms and insects makes more sense.

I think you could have called Second Show guy and BR for this collaborative conversation. Abhishek could have been much more constructive and reasonable. First half of Karnan has really worked well for me. its not his job to make you cry more, if you had cried extra for other movie than you should not expect similar emotions in all his movies. These kinda comments are indicative of lacking real comments for the movie. Also the comments on music looks really stupid, why would you want to remove sana from the picture.
No movie can satisfy everyone.

I don't believe in these critics. Watching these reviews are utter nonsense. Karnan movie draws different emotions from different people. People belong to oppressed community can feel the pain. People who really wants to know the history will come to know wat really happend and still is happening. But people who just watch films for mere fight romance and item songs will never understand this karnan.
