aehr lynn I can agree with that, some people are just weird like that, they like winning, even if theres no reward. However, on youtube I can understand it a little bit more, cuz its just awesome to compete against others in a video and knowing its going to be posted to a large audience, its kinda cool, ya' know?

I would eat all of them with no regrets. Even though there are punishment foods or the food u won't get to eat if u lost, I would still eat all of them cause I'm not a picky eater and all the foods u eat together give u more experience than one winning dish. Plus the winning dishes FBE chose for the other videos were not that good and it won't be guaranteed.

I just finished this anime which I watched because of seeing this video years ago! I definitely would’ve tried the pork roast. I would have loved if the transforming furikake rice was also made

If I was there I wouldn't care about the challenge because:
1. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
2. I will be hungry asf.
3. There's no punishment for losing.
4. There's no benefits to winning.
They were most likely allowed to eat the food after the challenge.

1. If so, they would have put it in the video.
2. If I was in the challenge I wouldn't have known that so the outcome wouldn't have changed.

I’m rewatching and realized this their FIRST “try not to eat challenge”🤯🤯
I finished all of these on snapchat and now I’m on yt 2 years later seeing food wars based one- I’m happy
One of the best things about Food Wars is that no matter how ridiculous the food may be presented in that anime, all of them are still not only possible to make IRL, but also delicious. And it makes sense because the manga's author is collaborating and consulting with an actual professional chef for the meals instead of just making up fictional foods for a fictional show.
Damn this video though, I haven't had breakfast yet...

Now that I’ve watched the whole show I respect it
So a few years ago I discovered that I’m actually a decent cook, and so my reaction while watching this is “I could probably make this myself”. Even the more difficult looking dishes, I would simply practice a few times to perfect if I can’t get it right the first time, so I’d probably win these no problem and that makes me so happy and proud of myself (I used to just say I can’t cook and never tried). 🥺💛
