“Us elders know very few songs that are on the radio for the kids nowadays” 11:30 You know that hit me. I hear complaints a lot that kids don’t do this or kids don’t know that. The other day, for the first time in a long time I saw a son, father and mother playing frisbee with each other. I hadn’t seen that in such a long time but I think it clicked for me. A lot of adults say “my kid never goes inside, they are always just playing on a device inside.” But I thought about it and it made me realize that adults do the same thing. I don’t see adult outside much, I just don’t. It’s wonderful to see a whole family outside but at the same time it is rarely seen. And often the things that we do ourselves we blame others for doing the same thing. It’s a cycle
Well I understand your point but you also gotta consider that many of these adults work full time to provide for the house and family. They also don’t have the same energy that kids have. That being said, I live by a senior community and I see many older folk walking their dogs/jogging than I kids playing at the park by my house.
