Rich Goodwin's Incredible Jet Pitts 'G-JPIT' Display at Old Buckenham Airshow Saturday 27th July 2024
G-JPIT has been built from scratch over a period of 4 years. It is based on the Pitts S2S Fuselage with a new unique wing design designed by Eddie Saurenman Aero Works.
The 2ATM Lynx Jet turbines deliver 700lbs thrust & in combination with the 8.5 Ltr Lycoming, provides a total thrust of 1700lbs. Because the aircraft weights only 1550 lbs there is a thrust to weight ratio of at least 1.1:1 to enable G-JPIT to hover & accelerate upwards from stationary!
