- When we look up at night, the universe seems pretty quiet. But that perspective is an illusion; in reality, there are millions of world-shattering events happening every instant across the cosmos. This short film explores just how much is going on every moment in our ridiculously enormous universe.
In the fraction of a second it takes to blink your eyes, thousands of stars will be born, hundreds will explode and die, millions of planets will form, and our universe will expand by half a million kilometers in diameter.
And these numbers only account for the observable universe -- not for what could be happening beyond, where some scientists believe there could be an infinite expanse of space.

Millions and millions of blackholes are out there, but most don't have a ring of debris to reveal their location and it takes extreamy powerful telescopes to pick up even a hint of the distortion made by the rest

I love all the details that go into every single of your videos. Like even the subtle red-blue shift in the text, the (probably) hand-animated time counters with approprate sfx and very subtle zoom in/outs once the counter is (nearly) finished. Let alone this beautiful 3d imagery with atmospheric lighting and you literally see the heat of the planets or black holes distoring spacetime. So lovely and I haven't even mentioned the musical arrangement yet... "hand-crafted" is indeed a pretty good term to describe your astonishing work.
