It is a wonderful film. Really understated and powerful, and like Mark says well balanced. This review once again shows why Kermode is one of the few true film critics still around for his way of championing a gem like this.
Remarkable performance from Sandra Hüller, great to see after (so long before!) Toni Erdmann. Came to this after Mark mentioned it alongside Kreuzweg/Stations of the Cross (admirably always trying to see the non-horror - for non-genre fans - in other related films).
