CJ MITSUBISHI LANCER FOG LIGHTS INSTALL FROM START TO FINISH.

So for those who have no Lancer Fog lights at all on your lancer, I hope this helps in some way with seeing what I did as this was the first time I have installed Fog lights on a Lancer and hope it helps you upgrade your one if your thinking or going to put them on.

Thank for sharing you can connect the switch to the accessory wire to have it only turn on when the ignition switch is on.

Hello, I don't quite understand where the plastic guide begins to be inserted. I haven't found one like the one you use in the video, I used a thinner guide, but I just can't give it direction, it seems to run into something and it doesn't move forward. In the video it looked very simple, as if it had been inserted and it just slipped in and continued on its way without any obstacles. Could you explain a little more detail how this is done? 14:56 good question, at 14:56 I talk about what I was going to do but forgot to film it, I extended the positive and negative wires and ran the wires from one side of the car to the other, I will try and make another video to cover this, appreciate your comment!

lights are not bad on there own, you cant make them any lower or higher brightness, they do there job, they work pretty good with no other lights around example street lights so pretty happy with them

You plugged in the harness backwards, those power wires and relay should be by the battery

I got a question my lights aren’t working and I have two black wires it says to ground them both but to I connect one to the battery and then one to the car ?

best thing to do is do some test, run a long wire to the battery earth or connect them both and fix to the body on a good earth surface, its all about testing when it comes to wires, hope this helps

So what was your solution for the light always being on? Did the new switch fix it? I just got a fog light kit for my lancer and wanted to know. Incase I run into the same problem.

strange ive got a 2015 model I think its actually a CF not a CJ but my sister has a CJ and they are near identical, it has the fog light relay in the fuse box and a fog light switch on the right column next to the drls lows and highs etc but it doesnt have a fog light harness? gonna try source a harness from a wreckers I think.
