    Here is a helpful video on how to activate the fog light switch if mine wasn’t helpful! th-cam.com/video/tMR_ZeylKWY/w-d-xo.html

      Do the lights come with bulbs from Mitsubishi? OEM? or do you have to buy the halogens separately?

  • @CX5EFWE

    No battery disconnect needed if only doing the lights, the disconnect is necessary if the "stalk" doesn't have the fog light controls on it. Simply get in and put the seatbelt on, open and close the door 5 times, hold the fog light switch on to get the beep, release, turn on and hold again to get the second beep and you are done. Very good video, thanks.

      @@colbybryant8418 interesting, I did exactly the same as you without the battery disconnect as the instructions that came with my kit said and it worked. Mine is a 2017, either way thanks for your video I enjoyed it.

    This is great!!! Thanks for posting . The only set back will be when the halogens need to be replaced … the bumper would need to come off and the same process needs to happen when you have to install them … but thanks for sharing this video , I’m going to do it myself now!

      Excellent I’m glad it was helpful, if you also want some good fog lights that fit the OEM spot perfectly, and are plug and play, I now use these and they are awesome!!! Check em out, they say nothing about fitting a Mitsubishi Mirage, but they do, trust me, thanks!

    Thank you so much!!! I really needed this! I have to replace my front bumper due to it being ripped apart by a piece of tire on the interstate and I figured I might as well add fog lights to it! I saw the other activation video too and somewhat thought he was joking so this definitely confirms it! You did a great job btw!

    I want to swap out the stock fog lights on my 2019 Mirage SE for some with 9 LED's. Can you show how to change the stock fog lamp assy. by removing only the surrounding fog lamp cover? Don't these pop out by prying with a body tool? Is it necessary to remove the entire bumper cover?

    Im doing the exact same steps, i only get the first 3 second beep but not the 1 second beep. It doesnt seem to work. Im on a 2022 G4 ES. Theres no lights lightining up on the dashboard. I have no clue why its not working.
    I have the a 12v 30 amp relay installed and the 15 amp fuse for the fog lights. For some reason car is refusing to activate the fog lights.

    Bought a used 2015 HB that already had the right light lens broken. Replacing just the light bulb would not make any sense. That's why I came here. Would you recommend replacing the whole thing or are there just lens parts?

    • @Alexmckinney1025
      @Alexmckinney1025  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would replace the whole thing because if you try putting a new lense on you would have to make sure to get a PERFECT seal to keep moisture and water vapor out, so the best thing to do is order a new set, or housing.

    Can you replace the right fog light bulb without taking the bumper down? I was able to do it on the left bulb. But the right one is not accessible

    • @Alexmckinney1025
      @Alexmckinney1025  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can, it’s a little harder, but all you have to do is either pull some of the clips out of the fender and pull it back, then you can get your hand in there, or jack it up, and you can easily reach it from underneath.
