    Well done Paul.....as was your PEQ video. Quite helpful for us GX-100 users. As a fan of AC30/Matchless/Bad Cat, I made a patch of dual Match Combos, driven with some compression and just touch of studio reverb. I'm blown away at how clean it sounds with my Strat neck pup but goes into Plexi mode when I shift to the JB. The GX is pretty amazing!

    I love this channel. ♥️
    You explain things really well Paul. Thank you kind sir.
    I need one of these. I've been watching loads of demos for all kinds of these units in this price range and I can find anything that would beat the boss really. Of course I've not played them. Just listened, but that tone is just killer. ♥️🤘
    Do you have a video that explains this until? I will search sir.
    Regards from the heartland. Indiana USA.
    Tim. ♥️🤘♥️

      It’s a master build custom shop. Hold on. Ok so he has a video on it. I didn’t mind watching it again. I love that red strat. Those pick ups are Fat 50 Josefina Campos pick ups. She took over when Abby who used to be the most famous pick up winder
      retired and Abigail showed Josefina how to do it.

    Hi Paul, what speakers are you using? Could you suggest some studio speakers for home practice with the gx-100? Thanx for sharing your knowledge!

  • @mul500
    @mul500 ปีที่แล้ว

    Paul, how would you personally connect the gx100 to the Katana Mark 2 head? Please explain in layman's terms because I hate tinkering with things like effects and cables. I need to find a method that is simple and works. I personally don't wanna be turning speaker emulation on and off all the time. Life was much simpler for guitarists before amp modelling came along! BTW, I bought the studio rat patches package for the gx100 and love them. Thanks for putting the time in to make them.

    Hey Paul! Any chance you could re-visit this pedal and show how to get it sounding good with an amplifier. 4 cable method and straight in? Using it for recording it sounds great but I'm having a hard time getting it to sound warm using amps. It sounds real trebly.

    I’d not worry about keeping it under Five minutes; it might come across as truncated and rushed. Seems like 10 minutes is the sweet spot, but don’t focus on the feedback noise in comments section. Do your best to make the quality content you’re proud of and the people will respond. You build it; they’ll come.

    Hey Paul: Question please, on my GX-100 Input settings when using various guitars (Les Paul, MM Cutlass, Ibanez etc... I notice in order for the input signal to reach yellow so I can back it down a bit the input sensitivity for all these guitars have to set to over 12dB. Just wondering if something is not right with with my unit?

      @@swardmusic to he honest I prefer my tube amps but the GX100 sounds just as good as the Pod Go to my ears but you need some time to dial in what you like. I spent a month on both of them before going "okay, that'll do" 🙂

    I'm going to try that on my GT-1000. It has all those same amps and effects, so I should get pretty close. That's my most desired tone....slight breakup. I can get shimmering cleans and face melting distortions whenever I want, but I want something in between. Thank you.
