dang you dad is awesome. Send him a high 5 from me! My father figure who wood worked for years and taught me a lot passed not long ago. There was something special here when you mention your dad helping you. God bless you both!
How about a herb Garden on your empty Wall. You get greenery to look at and fresh herbs to Cook with. With watering Built within a rack. I could imagine that.
You have amazing natural light also could get just a couple of cool looking LEDs 6000 lumens... Grow at least a little bit since you had such an amazing Garden on one of your other videos.
I love that you did so much with your dad, and even though you and your brother are not working together right now, you birthed this dream together. What a treasure! I'm from Long Island originally, and live in Oklahoma now, but love seeing your foraging and farmer's market trips as well. Keep doing your thing! It's great... Off to brew my first kombucha after watching your tutorial this morning.
Great vid but Mike, i was wondering if you could do an episode on food storage and how to properly store prepped food ingredients. That would be amazing!
I was drooling over your kitchen when I first saw it. Great job. What a difference from where you started in that little tiny kitchen. You are so talented.
Of all the odd things to comment on, those "lever-activated casters" are exactly what I've been searching for for exactly the same piece of kitchen furniture! Love all your videos, but for me, this was a real find!
Most amazing design. And kudos to your dad, he has skills. Excited for you to start making videos from here. In order to deal better with my depression, I'm going to start cooking more and just get out of my comfort zone. Thank you for sharing!
So amazing! We have gotten glimpses but had no idea it was a studio, one enhancement… you need a big colorful photo or picture. The space above the sofa is inviting it! Hope it is the finishing touch of something that inspires you! Best of luck in your awesome, magical new home space! Blessings your way! Oops you already figured that out! Awesome tour!
You absolutely deserve your own show on the food network, you have a lot of inovative cooking skill, i was one of your brothers green subscribers and im still with ya today.
You not only built your dream kitchen studio...you built MY dream kitchen. Fantastic!! Believe it or not, my favorite is the blue spice rack. I love spices. (You need an area to make black garlic though.)
So this is already a year ago! Looking back now, your bold decision about Brothers Green and shift to the studio was at the right moment!!! If it was a couple months later, it would have been a difficult shift there with all the pandemic. Tbh I was a little sad that Brothers Green went on a different path, but I respect the decision of you guys. I still love your content and you are still Mike from the Brothers Green for me.
David Pumpkini way to ruin a fun idea by making fun of someone’s family and bringing politics into play... BUT if that’s the case Josh might be back soon 🤫
I think you should put a wire or something in front of your herbs and spices. Knowing me I would reach for one and knock the one next to it off the shelf. I don’t mean to be critical. I think the kitchen looks amazing!
Man, with that whole Fermenstation, you should really try and do a video with Brad Leone from BA. (If you already have, my bad, I couldn't find one). He's ALL about fermentation.
Incredible. You gave me some great ideas for my new kitchen. I've designed two kitchens in the past using all IKEA products and was very happy with the results. Both kitchens were durable, aesthetically pleasing and I enjoyed having total control over the design process. Most places force you to work with a kitchen designer but I don't need their help. Love the homemade details you included. Very nice touch. The people who gave this a thumbs down must still live in their parents basement and have resentment issues.
This is a Really cool setup buddy, you working with your Dad was also really cool to see, Father and son making awesome things together ❤ The only thing I would say, is to add more warm light, and also maybe have led neon style lights as an alternative, so that you could turn the entire setup into whatever light setting you want, color and style wise.
lol because of this video i will be the new proud owner of the full set of stainless Sardel pots/pans with 2 extra lids. lmao SO THANK YOU! Can't wait to try them and of course continue to follow/explore your content.
Everything on locking wheels is good for home furniture too. It’s easier to move it all around when one wants a change, and to move it all when cleaning the floors.
I'm a bit late to the party but regarding your new kitchen build, as an engineer I wonder if you followed the manufacturer's installation instructions re clearance around the refrigerator for ventilation to the sides and rear? This is where most of the heat from inside is dissipated during the cooling process and if external air cannot circulate the refrigerator will labor on it's cooling cycle (ie motor-compressor work for long periods of time) as it tries to achieve the set temperature inside. Two main results will be food not cold enough inside and higher power usage, plus potentially wearing out the compressor earlier. Thanks for your very informative cooking lessons.
@@sherylgreenfield6908 nice to meet you, Mrs Greenfield...I was going to say : " I wanna marry your Dad !!" LOL ....You must be a great lady, u have a great son and a great husband. I wish you all well .

My Gmail great insight !!! I love Jonathan fields and GLP he is friend and I have been wanting him and his wife to come over to see Mikes kitchen. I am going to tell him about your awesome comment !!
Would love to see a meet the neighbors video! It's been great to watch this come together from your instagram posts and previews here on youtube! Congrats on getting this far!
Yeah I felt it was a bit unfair to give her about 1 second to wave at the camera like that .. though she may just be someone who doesn't like being in front of the camera.
Check with your manufacturer for specifics, but you'll have problems with your fridge without proper clearance around all sides. Its usually min. 2" sides and back and min. 6" on the top.
Just revisited this video to see if you did a single basin sink. I'm redoing my kitchen right now and think single basin might be better for pots, pans, canning, and cleaning microgreen trays. Any regrets on not doing two basins?
I watched it all. I enjoyed the "BAH!" at the very end. Great job on the space! So much effort and love and time went into creating it. I'm definitely impressed and looking forward to the collaboration projects you'll be getting yourself into. Cheers!
Clawhammer is awesome, their system is not difficult to use, they have their own youtube channel where they brew and use the system, hopefully we see more homebrewing on this channel soon, maybe a sour beer, kettle soured with Lactobacillus :D
I have the Clawhammer 120v system... awesome system, great bunch of folks. System is fantastic and easy to use. I've made an award winning cucumber beer with their system.
Love it! I really wish this video existed before my husband and I designed our kitchen! Oh well! Its not as if I would’ve have had the budget or the ability to hire Mike’s Dad for a build. Thanks for sharing and your dream studio place turned out amazing! You deserve having such an amazing space to create culinary masterpieces as you’ve worked so hard for so long! Much love from Montana. ✨💖✨
Hi In my culture, people buy so many fantasies that they would end up not using. I would love to watch you having the recommended appliance, tools and so on!
Love the space. I follow a guy in the UK, Gaz Oakley, Avant Garde Vegan, and also a lady in Denmark (I think) Pick Up Limes. Gaz is going to start a restaurant and makes frequent trips to the US. He has written 3 cookbooks. Just a thought. Love the Fermenstation. I have a very small house but would love to have that kind of space.
Hey Mike - Definitely please make a video on the Induction Stove. After moving I miss my gas range and am trying to decide if it worth it to get gas installed or just invest in the induction
Did not take you for a woodworker. You should start another channel! Thanks for the video. It was great! Let me rephrase that. The video was AMAZING! I love the desk (never seen purpleheart used in a desk for some odd reason) and the subway sign is really neat too.
Hello! Absolutely love your kitchen and it has inspired a lot of the design in the kitchen I am building now. May I ask several questions regarding the shelves above your sink? 1) what’s the depth of those wood planks, is it about 20cm? 2) how are those wood planks (shelves) supported? Is it via the 2 corner industrial pipes against the wall? Thanks in advance!
Been a journey I mostly ghost through your channel check up look at your creation. Name change threw me off so I was wondering what's next, then this video popped up. Whoa! Congrats brothers
as an audio engineer i noticed that one thing of the missing 10 % was treating the room acoustically with absorbers, the sound in the new videos is really good for such a big room 👌
Love the studio kitchen !!! My kitchen is designed a lot like your's. I too have an 8 ft island and it makes for a great work space. I love open shelving but mine isn't custom made like your's. Your's is gorgeous !!! It's wonderful to see your dreams come to fruition. You've certainly worked your tail off getting there and it's well deserved. Kudos :o)
