The sheer humility of this man; he seems to be genuinely grateful for the life he has, constantly commenting on how he loves each aspect of the house and how he never had anything close to this in his life. Not to mention that he is such a stand-up and honest guy.
Such a beautiful home for a guy who is clearly full of humility and gratitude. I particularly loved it when he kissed his girlfriend on the cheek after she showed us her office. So sweet.
Andrew Rea is an icon of this generation by doing what he genuinely loves and through the power of the internet has achieved his dream of having a home movie studio with automated closing curtains. As if we didn't love him enough, did I also mention that he just seems like the most humble and genuine person?
Never in my life have I been so jealous of someone else's house, but at the same time, Andrew is such an outstanding guy and consistently good content creator that I can't help feeling happy for him. Easily in the top 10 TH-camrs of all time
Damn, this guy earns A LOT! 6 levels of apartment in Brooklyn with an almost big backyard + whole interior design. I was a Babish addict last summer, watching and cooking all the time and I always wondered about his house.
1000% love how genuine this was. I sometimes watch AD videos and get so frustrated because the homes look so contrived and no like people live in them. Not only does Andrew admit that his house DIDN'T look this good just a few weeks/months ago, he also is so genuine in his happiness about all things related to his success that it's infectious. So hype to've been following him for 2 or 3 years now. Stellar job!
@@Showmeromi Depends on culture. In the UK it very much has the meaning she was trying to convey. I think it's more of a slang evolution in the US because "homely" was used as a compliment for women when they couldn't think of anything nicer to say about their appearance, so kind of took on a double meaning. Kind of like when people describe a woman as "bubbly" and mean she's overweight. (I don't agree with either of those ideas, just saying it seems to be how language has evolved.)
I liked it when he said he takes advantage of his kitchen, most of the people featured in this series don't even use their huge kitchens. He seems to be very grateful and humble! This is a beautiful and cozy house, the vibe and everything feels good, it's well designed.
For some of the super rich people on here, it's safe to say their huge kitchens get used, just not by them personally. They likely have kitchen staff that make them their food.
@@leonidas6330 But exactly because of his job I thought that he maybe even dislikes cooking in his own, personal kitchen? I mean, if you cook every day for work, you might enjoy every second you don´t (have to) cook, maybe? But it also makes sense the way you said it
Okay, I was not prepared to hear "it's basically six levels." I'm like whaa?! Nice use of the space though and it looks cozy. Lol, I think this Kyle person is going to get a lot more business now and thanks for the entertaining home tour.
I was thinking that was wild, then realized the bottom two floors would normally be rented out and not living space for the homeowner. Still, I'm way too lazy for 4 floors of living space!
My favorite house tour! Everything from the giving heavy credit to his designer, including his partner, all the genuine joy in his space, and the fantastic design. So deserved
This and David Harbour's house man, this interior designer is IT! homey in a small space but not overwhelming and cluttered? gotta love it! (and I say small spaces but that are in fact, gigantic for NY)
This is very genuine, especially since the home is funded mostly by the TH-cam sponsorships and ads. It's functional at the bottom and beautiful above and outside.
As a young guy just starting out on his own, I really admire Andrew. He's humble and okay with admitting what he doesn't know and giving credit to others in their fields of expertise. I also audibly 'awww'ed when I heard he's still with Jess. That's nice, I'm glad they're still making it work. Also side note, the Rolex watch book and Bong Appetite book, man after my own heart right there.
Not only is it exciting to see his growth but they did a really, really great job designing this place! Even though he joked about it being done on short notice the design and vibe seem so thoughtful. I almost choked up at the end lol
Such a humble and genuine guy! The way he acknowledges his crew, designers and how he thanks his viewers is a testament of his hard work and successful life👌🏼

Lol, I knew this when he bought his older brother a Tesla. But yeah TH-cam ads are real
Honestly very deserving tho, I watched his stuff from the beginning and am just very happy how far he has come
The sheer humility of this man; he seems to be genuinely grateful for the life he has, constantly commenting on how he loves each aspect of the house and how he never had anything close to this in his life.
Love this, well said! I hope to be this confidently transparent one day
Never in my life have I been so jealous of someone else's house, but at the same time, Andrew is such an outstanding guy and consistently good content creator that I can't help feeling happy for him. Easily in the top 10 TH-camrs of all time
Damn, this guy earns A LOT! 6 levels of apartment in Brooklyn with an almost big backyard + whole interior design. I was a Babish addict last summer, watching and cooking all the time and I always wondered about his house.
well deserved, he's a very hard worker. don't jinx him.
That sneaky silly kiss he gives Jess is just EVERYTHING. Gorgeous home for a gorgeous couple, inside and out!💕
1000% love how genuine this was.
Rather he did it last minute or not his place looks so homely & comfortable. Just beautiful
"Homely" means ugly, btw. You mean "homey"!
Rather?
Right on! Well said!
@@TyrannosavageRekt Ty !!!
I remember when Andrew had 100k TH-cam subs and was consistently posting on reddit. The guy has kept his charm even after the fame.
And he still posts on reddit!
as someone that loved his rando r/food videos and remembers his post saying he was quitting his job to do food vids full-time. this is awesome!!!
I know right! He’s come so far!
More than half this mans house is just kitchen. Incredible
I feel like this video is a petition to be David Harbors best friend 😂
The fact he referenced David's apartment more than once must mean he really liked it. I loved David's apartment.

Truly deserving
Besides living in a 6 floor house, Babish has to be the most relatable youtuber
I liked it when he said he takes advantage of his kitchen, most of the people featured in this series don't even use their huge kitchens. He seems to be very grateful and humble! This is a beautiful and cozy house, the vibe and everything feels good, it's well designed.
For some of the super rich people on here, it's safe to say their huge kitchens get used, just not by them personally. They likely have kitchen staff that make them their food.
Well his career is to post cooking videos on youtube thats how he was able to buy the house so it makes sense that he uses the kitchen
@@leonidas6330 But exactly because of his job I thought that he maybe even dislikes cooking in his own, personal kitchen? I mean, if you cook every day for work, you might enjoy every second you don´t (have to) cook, maybe? But it also makes sense the way you said it
He did a video on what he does in a day and said he usually eats minimally or eats take out
@@jamiesophiepostler1452 Oh i see that makes much more sense Just like professional gamers don't rlly play for fun on their own
Okay, I was not prepared to hear "it's basically six levels." I'm like whaa?!

Small space? Dude, there are SIX FLOORS!
Six floors but kinda thin horizontally.
He’s just a big kid showing off his fun style and home and I’m all for it, so wholesome!
I'd be the same. Except every room would just be arcade cabinets & pinball machines. "And this room is ALSO the games room..."
This is very genuine, especially since the home is funded mostly by the TH-cam sponsorships and ads. It's functional at the bottom and beautiful above and outside.
A lot of ppl forget that before he was doing TH-cam he was a digital effects artist. He's legit the coolest youtuber I've ever watched.
Honestly, Andrew is such a likeable guy. He’s never been pretentious and he has always been able to connect with his audience. Kudos Andrew!
“This is where I lose” I don’t do signage in my home but I may need this quote hanging somewhere
This is like one of the top three houses on this show. I'm seriously impressed. Wow.
"As you can see, the house is well designed...I, I didn't do that..." Andy is best boy, confirmed
When he mentioned the firepit exploding immediately thought “WAS THAT WHEN SOHLA DID HER FIRST EP ON STUMP SOHLA?!” This place is soo nice.
I think it was, yeah!!!
this is the best Open Door AD has done - honest and down to earth - so refreshing! Would love to see more of these instead of staged homes
Not only is it exciting to see his growth but they did a really, really great job designing this place! Even though he joked about it being done on short notice the design and vibe seem so thoughtful. I almost choked up at the end lol
"So normally, when people come into my house, I force them to watch Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" LMAO something I would definitely do

Such a humble and genuine guy! The way he acknowledges his crew, designers and how he thanks his viewers is a testament of his hard work and successful life👌🏼
He is literally perfect for this series! His personality made everything. A lot more interesting!
Aside from Dakota’s and Kendall’s houses, this one’s the best for me. So proud of Andrew!!!

He's just so chill. Rare human where their personality perfectly matches their voice.
This is a really REALLY cool house.
I usually don't really like the luxurious houses because they don't feel like a home but I LOVE their house. Good job guys ! :)

Probably why he was able to buy, the cost was probably way below market rate
@@IjeomaThePlantMama Still, expensive as hell. The average market rate for a townhouse like this is slightly upwards of 1mil. A good deal might’ve been $700,000, but that’s still more expensive than most people can afford.
