I just picked up the matrix 2 and some extra presets for worship and I’m really pleased with it. It’s a great option if you need that all in one unit for modern worship. I’ve been all analog, all my life and I turned up at our new church with my amp and pedalboard recently. The kid running sound looked at me like I had two heads. ‘Where’s your modeler?’ It’s a brave new world out there.😂
The Valeton GP200 is a real alternative to the Pod Go and clocks in at 350 euros in Europe. It seems to be quite popular in the Brazilian worship community. Have a look at it!
So I like this matribox video, but I've recently become aware of the Hotone Ampero 2 stomp/ Stage. I'm leaning more towards the stage as an all in one solution for me. wondering if you have any experience with it or would potentially be doing a video on it sometime soon? From the very limited videos (worship related) I can find on it on TH-cam. it almost appears (the stage version) to be the budget helix/stomp killer? the sounds I've heard online so far seem great! it has 12 effects blocks , and their version of snapshots (scenes).. Im wondering if you can give me an opinion on it? the stomp for me in Canada comes in around 400-500 depending on where you get it, and the stage is around 950 Canadian dollars. Which compared to the hx or helix is significantly less ( hx stomp here is like 700, and the xl is 1100. the helix lt is over 2k and the full version is close to 3k ) so this ampero seems to be an interesting solution potentially
The price point of this unit is about the minimum you can spend and still have good sounds. Another example (different form factor and features) is the Ampero Mini ($229). But this unit has way more I/O features than the Ampero Mini. I have not been impressed by any of the $100-150 multifx pedals.

Impressive for the price… the tones out of the box sounded better than the Pod Go factory tones… but i love the Pod GO custom tones a lot…

How would you compare it to the NUX MG 30
I haven't had my hands on it yet, but I have messed around with a lot of NuX individual pedals and I'd say they are most likely pretty comparable.
