Question for you on your transmission gauge is it normal for it to be a little high not in the middle if you could give me that information I’d appreciate it

What is the temperature symbol with the circle around it on top left of cluster gauge?

Thanks for the video. I have same truck minus some features that you have. I love this truck. Anyway, in PA here with a lot of hilly terrain. Only thing I find annoying is seems to shift into down grade braking when going down hill and engine rpm’s go 3K plus. Wondering if you knew how to disable? Also had some issues with CarPlay connecting/disconnecting but haven’t had frozen infotainment yet.

Hey John! Have checked to see if your Hill Descent Control is on? You can check by going to “controls” from your infotainment screen. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Yep, that is the first thing I checked and it is off. It’s only on hills that are 1/2 - 1+ miles long about 6% grade, after the 3rd or 4th time you hit the brake the rpm’s shoot up and the engine brakes the vehicle. My 18 Silverado did it but the rpm’s weren’t as extreme.

@@johnh.8884 interesting, I’ll do some research!

Found this online, hope it helps. “Gas engines have more engine braking (compression braking) at higher RPM. Almost all new vehicles with automatic tranny's have a torque converter lock up to save fuel on the road. The PCM will unlock your torque conveter while braking to utilize the engine braking but this should not be noticable.”

My AT4X has that high rpm engine braking, I like it but give some gas on the gas pedal takes the rpms down alittle
