I sure as hell thankful that home Depot is upgrading their props with the blinking moving eyes from lethal Lilly, THD 3000, and the Costco mummy. They add so much character to them. I am also grateful we're getting nautical themed props for this year. Anyone else agree with me? Because they are such a breath of fresh air from all the clowns, witches, and even all the 12 footers.

The Dullahan is a figure in Irish lore, basically the headless horseman but with a human spine as a whip. I miss the creepy whip, but otherwise that's cool they are using the name of a mythological character that I don't see represented in name much in the US! That spooky face tree and jack-o-lantern arch are great too! Love the idea of a Nosferatu!
I think that the scarecrow was made to be a companion piece to last year's Sitter of Souls. They look really similar in terms of style. We've seen that before with Dean the Deathologist, who returned last year with the Maid prop and another similarly themed skeleton this year. Also, I really agree that Home Depot's pirate isn't scary at all. I think that Lowe's has some fantastic pirate/sea themed animatronics this year!
the way stores work, is they have to plan for the next season, so when spring is here, there planning for summer already, when summer starts their planning for fall most liekly half way through , some stores will setup early some wont. so the store managers getting showen the product this early isnt weird or anything. its just how they operate.
What I really like about props like the static 10 ft tree is that you can hang Halloween decorations like ghosts or dropping spiders from its arms to make it that much more scary looking and that much more of a classic Halloween look

HD has been doing really well over the yrs with their props ! I own at least Animatronics from them . I know that HD & lowes are always in compantation with each other ..but i think hd does a better detail look than lowes does !
Looking forward to seeing the 2024 animatronics but 2025 can you guys please make them more realistic and less plastic and please find a way to create full bodies and eliminate the oversized stands that don't fit in our doors I feel like the stand is the heaviest thing in the box I will be getting the Frankenstein I like him he is a favorite this year

I had my first glance at animatronics in 2021 when i wondered into a home depot that sat next to a furniture store and ive been hooked ever since.i was never interested in halloween got tired of seeing the same stuff every year but baby home depot keeps me coming back every year. I the years to come i would love to see the animatronics get them off them huge stands that won't fit thru your door and make them walk like robots and feel more real to the touch all over and with stand the elements a lot better or make smaller versions of the best so we can keep them inside like the small inferno pumpkin skeleton i would buy that one as well for customers like me i buy to please myself because i love animatronic displays the werewolf that came out should have felt realistic and the female robot her face felt real but the rest of her body was plastic and jack frost face felt real but yet again the rest of his body was plastic please please please in 2025 give more realistic then plastic i would love to see more of that any way looking forward to seeing and buying this years 2024 halloween animatronics

I would say try and remove the head and repaint Frankie, and if you can, remove the clothes (at least buy him a drink first though) and age them if you can!
I hope Home Depot gives royalties to Distortions Unlimited because that tree is a direct rippoff of DU's release last year. Shame Home Depot for doing this.

I remember a headless Scottish creature, but I can't remember its name. It leaves women and kids alone but very aggressive to male travelers.

A lot of folks still love the classic Halloween decor like witches, Frankenstein, Dracula, Werewolves, etc.
It doesn't need to be like, super realistic, but it's weird that the skeleton dog has ears lol
I agree, most skeleton animal props have bone ears.
because most of the animatronics are catered to kids and kids would get it more if they see ears

The tree reminds me of Ol’ Spooky from “Beetlejuice: The Animated Series”. Normally, trees with faces freak me out but I’ve always loved Ol’ Spooky…

Distortions tree is far taller and far more expensive, plus the face on DU’s is completely different from the one on Home Depot’s.
