Good effort, but matching what what Roth WAS at one point in his Van Halen career on vocals is impossible. DLR could sing / vocal stylize the shit out EVH's music; it was a perfect blending of EVH's genius guitar licks and rhythm playing, DLR's lead vocals, and Mike Anthony's signature SoCal Van Halen backing vocals that made Van Halen the powerhouse that it was. I do enjoy hearing younger bands pay tribute to classic VH, though.
