@taxiwilliams I got a couple questions I'm reason user since 2.0.... What are your recording chains in reason ? This song was completely recorded and edited inside reason? I need to get good at you 😅
@@MecheGT 1.)I record everything dry into reason with a sterling ST mic and then EQ , Compression afterwards. I use the Steinberg UR 22C audio interface. Everything is recorded, edited and arranged in reason, but do the Mix and mastering in Cubase…
I produced a lot from ‘01-‘13 but haven’t in a decade and am getting back into it as well as minimal recording for a personal project or 2 and I hadn’t looked into it for a while. Amazing that reason has this! Looks like I can skip buying logic or protools again which is a bonus. Last one I had was reason 6 I think and looks like it’s come a long way. Thanks for the video
Reason has definitely made some leaps in improvements. I started using reason back in 2005. They come along way and I’m looking forward to the new developments they have planned. Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video.
@ I like what you did in this video, I’m checking the what’s new video from Propellerhead but am going to come back and go through your other vids. I like those your beat and vibe with the vocals on this feelings track for sure - it’s really in the lane of what I’ve done and want to do this next year
I'm gonna make Reason my main driver and see how it goes. its great that it has all "plugins" and instruments you ever need! The workflow can't be that much worse than protools/Reaper/Cubase... right? 🤔
@@jeffjonesworld it’s depends on you. Some people say it’s actually better than ProTools/Reaper/Cubase…etc… and some say the opposite. Pros and cons to Every DAW… just a matter, which Features is most important to you. I may need to jump on a zoom call with you one day bro and catch up…
whats up man I am big in using Reason #reasongang however I dont see a lot of videos from people doing vocals in Reason but I do but just trying to perfect recording in Reason because I enjoy the daw, but do you know if you can fly over parts of a song like in Pro-tools, like flying the hook if you know or know some other jewels you could drop on recording in Reason I would appreciate it 💯
Nice!
nice clean mix with reasons
@@MecheGT thanks bro!!

@@atlantatech6241 yes. I pretty much do the hook one time and copy and paste. I may do a little ad Libs just to have a variation between the hooks.
