I love how you combine Mozart's and Beethoven's Turkish March at the end at 5:35).
You have really outdone yourself with this one. This was very hard even for me, a classical pianist and violinist. I did all this off my head. Would have been easier if I had some more concertos and symphonies to tease my brain with. I'm not as good with the extremely popular pieces, cause I'm more used to listening to complete works.
The Piano Haven Bullmulgers piece is Arabesque :)
I believe the first 2 Sousas are both The Washington Post march :)
I believe the piece from Delibes is called "pizzicato"
5:20 Scott Joplin: The Entertainer
Juan, 5:20 is still the Maple Leaf Rag, the theme that's played right at the beginning.
If you don't have time but like classical, here you can save up to 66% by listening to it all at once
Agreed. This is literally how i got prepared to the coming listening test.
Hilarious! Bravo
DUDE that's fukin hilarious
That is probably not 66% of all classical music lol
This isn't even 1% of all classical music pieces lol
Who wants part 3????
Alvin Cheng me

Beethoven : WANNA HEAR SOME SYMPHONIES ?
**crowd roars**
Beethoven : I CAN'T HEAR YOU !
4 months later.... I CANT HEAR YOU!!
lol because beethoven is deaf?? lmaoooo
Lololol
Classic joke~
Brylle Cruz i get it
I love how you include 4'33 by Cage
Roland Squire i was about to mention that
scrolling down to the comment section only for 4'33 reference. Too bad it appears at 4:22 instead of 4:33 :p
I heard he was going to try to use the whole thing interrupted, but couldn't make it work.
LOL
he's even in the special thanks section at 5:45 :D
0:00 - All the composers are enjoying a time at a picnic, or park.
1:13 - Brahms is starting to plot something to ruin everyone's day. Grieg joins in before he decides to stop. Same with Mendelssohn. Grieg joins in again.
1:24 - Bach overhears their conversation, and Ponchielli also confronts him as well.
1:39 - They forgive Brahms.
1:40 - Bizet & Mozart steal their idea and try to use it, edging toward the group.
1:52 - Sousa tries to stop them. Bizet acts innocent. Its not very effective. He apologizes and stops.
2:04 - Meanwhile, they are all competing in a game or event, with Tchaikovsky in the lead.
2:16 - Liszt catches up and takes the lead.
2:28 - Sousa and Rosas are suffering asthma attacks and are gradually stopping. Strauss stops with them. Liszt won.
2:44 - Beethoven is angry and accuses everyone of cheating.
2:52 Brahms is plotting something evil again. (dont hate on brahms hes a cool guy) To get revenge, Beethoven joins with him. Chopin as well. Also Schubert. People hate Liszt because he tortures everyone's hands, so they all get mad with Beethoven.
3:12 - Handel tries to calm everyone down and stop Beethoven from hurting Lizst.
3:16 - Beethoven stops everyone because he agrees with Handel. Everyone thinks its reasonable. They all gradually stop.
4:00 - Brahms and Necke disagree, and form two sides. They go all out on the other team with a massive fight, and they have the upper hand. Bach quickly tries to stop them but fails.
4:12 - Mozart and Handel try to stop Brahms but its not very effective.
4:18 Liszt now hates everyone due to this controversy and opposes everyone, stopping anyone in his way.
4:23 - John Cage becomes a mad lad and kills everyone.
4:24 - Brahms literally smashes anyone who approaches him, not giving a chance.
4:30 - Schubert stands a little bit of a chance. and Beethoven switches out shortly after due to the power of the oversized hand of Liszt.
4:39 - Liszt is tired now and they play nicely now, and Beethoven forgives him. Tchaikovsky plays a game with them.
4:47 *GOD JOINED THE SERVER* and Joplin too. Liszt tires out after, and takes a break. Other composers join in as well
5:29 - Joplin runs to use the restroom, and Schubert takes his place.
5:32 - The visit resumes as normal, as if nothing ever happened.
*Bach is dead now.*
nin*Beans Vivaldi tried to ruin the picnic by summoning the storms of the third movement of l’Estate.
Im a pianist and the hands of liszt ruin my exercise everyday.
It looks like a Classical Musician Reality Show
@@NinjaToe this would be awesome
@@amedeelefroiddemereaux2865 Just imagine Paganini joining the fight....
He will make violin strings out of their intestines...
Jesus Christ, it never occurred to me the 4'33" fit so well with these other pieces. Brilliant.
Mr. Capitalist02, it's said there's a scrapped recording in which the pianist accidentally hit the keyboard at the wrong time. At 2'45" I believe it was?
I think the brilliant part about this is the juxtaposition between the different pieces: if you recognize a specific piece, your mind tries to follow along with it and finish the music, and then you're surprised with a different artist's work. It's very enjoyable to listen to, kudos!
Yes
Stop over thinking it
I lost it when I saw "Cage" and just a whole bunch of rests. XD
A WHOLE bunch of RESTs! Get it?
I heard it. It's so overpowering.
4'33
4'33" for the win!
@@GreenBoy9000 lol shut up
I feel that the amount of work gone into this is underappreciated.
Look at these little heads go 🖤🎵🙌
You could've worded that differently.

HAH!! Didn't even notice Cage was in it 4:20
Lukas Hainer Kjær : Pardon me Sir, any idea why they need to Include Cage's composition in the mashup?
I didn't even notice lol!
Pardon me. But why they include that?
The inclusion of John Cage's 4'33" is meant to be a joke, just look it up and you should be able to understand!
Just knew that it means for joke, lol
Oh My God.
That part of Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag was PERFECT
4:45
Greatest classical combo!!
I love Liszt and Joplin!
I never knew that they harmonise so well…
Is that John Cage's 4'33'' starting at 4:21? Beautiful piece, one of my favorites.
One of the best interpretation that i've ever heard
14bit yes, if only it started at 4:33
Have you heard it with a full orchestra? It's really a whole different sound.
I really love this piece ❤️❤️❤️
I really like playing it one the piano 😲😲😲
Has a great sound 😉😉😉
I can't believe I almost missed that! It fits in perfectly with the other pieces, incredible!
5:12 I like the way how Mozart and Rossini combining The Magic Flute and The Barber of Seville Overtures

PITY THEY DIDN'T DO THAT )))
That Liszt/Joplin combo at 4:46 sounded particularly excellent.

At 4:45 my head explodes... Seriously, that is amazing. Never would have thought to put those together, both are so amazingly unique and beautiful.
Imagine all the classical pianist and composers having a (somewhat) battle.
But they still sound so good even after playing their own pieces and mashing it up against each other
the transition from Mendelssohn's violin concerto to Brahm's hungarian dance at 1:22 is simply perfect.
This Classical Mashups never disappoint me. Great works!
I especially adore the part where the melody transposed to F# Major, where Liszt's 'Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2' and Scott Joplin's 'Maple Leaf Rag' came together. Cheers to you, m8! (4:46 to 4:56)
Totally agree.
And not forgetting when Liebesträurm Nr. 3 mashed with Maple Leaf Rag shortly after.
That's my favorite part too!
my tears came out immediately

Dear grantwoolard,
Thank you so dearly for making this amazing creation that brought me to tears. Please make a part 3. I cannot stand the prolongation of time until such an event happens. I truly cannot describe how overjoyed I was to hear this. You have truly put an extraordinary amount of effort into the creation of this masterpiece that made me bescumber loadfuls of visual ecstaticism. Thank you, and may you be blessed for how much you have done to create this masterpiece.
A. Friedrich Wilhelm Macklin Your request’s come true. Check it out!
1:12 it doesn't sound like music mashup, it sound like just epic Hungarian dance improvisation. Especially when Mendelssohn part come in
Amazing. I predict a few million of highly deserved views.
I just love the Carmen x Mozart. Touched my heart.
suyoi47 what's the name of the Mozart piece

?Will you compose a Classical Music Mashup III
Why not do a third mashup with music by Gershwin or Shostakovich?
Dmiltri Shostakovich.
Died 5 years before my grandpa was born
Same to Rachmaninoff
Peter Davies I agree. He should do one with Gershwin, Shostakovich, Respighi, Ravel, Mussorgsky, Stravinsky and Phillip Glass.
CouchPotato That's exactly what I was thinking.
And Jelly Roll Morton, and Copeland.
Peter Davies But shostakovich would be so tough to harmonise with.
That combination of Maple Leaf Rag and Hungarian Rhapsody number 2 is absolute genius. Love this ❤
Theres not NEARLY enough Chopin in this one....
Shame
*bell ringing*
Frédéric Chopin I've seen you in 5:43.. I saw the name!
Frédéric Chopin because it's classical, Chopin is romantic.
Junhao Wang Bach is barrock
Junhao Wang for example
When the longest name has an starbucks.
The audio is funny enough, but with the graphics, it's over-the-top hilarious!
I'm so happy that Scott Joplin was recognized as a classical composer. That's all he ever hoped for....
Like if you are waiting Classical Music Mashup III
Just came out :D
@@derrick6116 yeah
It's out now.
@@GreenBoy9000 yes
Now we are waiting for IV
Can't WAIT for this one to go viral! Gr8 job m8
3:50 A combination of Morning mood and Pomp & Circumstance is so beautiful 😭
4:21 is to test how much of a music nerd you are.
Look at all those rests haha
4'33"
433
They should have waited a few seconds so it actually started at 4:33
John Cage!
Man this is so good!
At 43 I've started taking piano lessons again after a 20 year hiatus, and these mashups make me inordinately happy.
I need MORE. I NEED SO MUCH MORE OF THIS.
Excelent job, you are a very creative person.
I can’t get enough of this lol 😂! The Brahms Hungarian Dance 5 is now stuck in my head, thank you 😆.
But i mean what i say, well done!
The most choice bit of this is at 4:45 where they combine Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag and Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2.
When I saw the notification about your new mashup my mouth just stood wide open 😳 i love this. You are totally awesome
So when we perform this one, when we get to John Cage 4'33, do we pull out a stopwatch?
That's like mandatory man
but he only played that one theme from the second movement so no need
After a royalties dispute, a music producer registered 4'32 and 4'34 so that if an orchestra ever stays silent for a second shorter or longer, it counts as copyright infringement.
Wow, 4' 33" had me just speechless.
This is amazing! You have to wonder what these composers would think of this mashup. The snootier ones would be all like "what is this garbage" but the cooler ones would definitely say "nice work, mate!" :D :D
I think Rossini would have loved it.
I love when Beethoven's Pastoral appears at 3:14!!! it's too beautiful and i'm so delighted;) especially later merged with Grieg's Morning which fit it just fine! really love!
Mozart and Joplin are my two favorite composers, so it was cool seeing them in the same measures!
Thank you so much for making this mashup!!!
adele broke her grammy to give u the half
cande avila Hahaha. That's genius; such a shame that didn't happen
Se mamó
Wut?
I’m glad there are many excerpts from Verdi’s music in this one :)
2:42 SOLO BEETHOVEN 😂😂😂
When Liszt and Joplin come in... ooooohhh yeeessss~....
ikr!?
I love how Mozart Symphony No. 40 was incorporated in bits to release the tension and transition from a minor to a major finish!
As someone who generally hates mashups, these were phenomenal.
Ends with the two most popular composers.
I am so happy you included Rosas as well!!! Thank you for all the work you put into both Mashups!
The Cage part was the funniest one
Funny, I didnt hear that part.
hahahahaha four thirty threeeeeeeeeeee
I loved this! First, it sounded awesome, nice job at that! Second, watching those heads fly around, I could picture some sort of play / musical with all these guys just intermingling around ( some of them budding in and interrupting each other and showing off, maybe a few getting in a friendly brawl in the background...
Incredible! Mind blown!!! Sheer genius!!! Especially at these spots, but the awesomeness just keeps going!
1:38 - Wow! So clever! (Bizet & Mozart)
4:21 - Cage 🤣
4:45 - Liszt & JOPLIN!?!?!!! 😮😄
... And my jaw still keeps dropping over and over again!!!
Yay! There's more Tchaikovsky! my favourite composer!
Qonita Alviannisa Tchaikovsky is my favorite composer as well! I love his Piano Concerto No. 1 it is so beautiful at the beginning.
Tchaikovsky is my favorite 2
Of course! Who else can be so badass; making happy songs about ballet, swans and fairies, and then putting cannons in another song
Tchaikovsky is such an awesome composer and I totally agree, I'm so glad he made more appearances!
He's my favorite composer too. It's just too bad he lived such a depressing life.
4:45 This Liszt-Joplin section in particular is genius. They should send it out into space to brighten up the universe.
I got goosebumps hearing Cage’s segment...🙃
Oh give it a rest wouldya.
4'33"!!!!
Stop calling Cage a classical composer, he's got nothing to do with music!

The blend of of the end of LvB's Pastoral blneded with Grieg is just.... so..... perfect... 3:43 - 3:47 it takes me to a field of grass a long time ago in a place far, far away..... (in Puerto Rico, around 1977...) wowie. *wipes a tear or two*

Me: When that Liszt / Joplin drops at 4:44 oh man
Everyone at the party: ...
I love how each piece is layered in and how you bring back the different themes
Thank you for another fine video, mate!
Who else really wants to see GW do a full rendition of his version of Beethoven's Chorale 2nd movement? (2:41) That was an epic variation.
Watching their little heads makes me think that they’re dancing with each other, especially at the start. XD
It’s so adorable yet shocking at the same time.
Hahahah John Cage's 4' 33" made me laugh out loud when I saw it!

Nguyen Tai really??? U just copied and pasted from the piano haven's comment^. Smh
Jay Kang anything these days, writing a long comment seems to be copy n paste
you mean Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
God bless your soul.
Is Pyotr Russian for Peter?
*THIS PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE*
This is really improved from the previous. The transitions are fantastic. Just that the beginning part is not very engaging. Fabulous work, sir.
And the Liszt/Joplin duet part was INGENIOUS.
Yeah, the beginning isn't THAT engaging.
At least, he didn't end with a fade out this time...
It is January 2018, we are ready for part 3 now pls
