I’ve thought there should be an extra super expert category for a while. There is such a wide range of levels from moderately difficult to tas level difficulty. Some levels are just too hard.
Yeah. Super expert ranges from approx 2% (hard, but not overly so) all the way down to 'so low, it still rounds to 0.00%'. That's an insane spread of difficulty. I feel like super expert should cut off at 0.5% or so. All the sadistic levels below that can be in a 'extreme expert' that has like 100 lives (like MM1) or even infinite lives and it basically becomes 'discover and play random insane levels'.
Something like certain precise time attack levels, one (hard) trick levels and similar should be in a different category, for sure. Or tagged in a way that would make them out of endless runs.
The creator of the buffer jump level is one of the best precision players in the game.

Back then, two and a half years ago, I was an inexperienced guy, in contrast to today, and that’s why there are two.. okay, let’s say one and a half sections in the level which are a bit ,,unfair“, like one section before the first CP.

Buffer jumps are so easy, I don’t know how you weren’t able to pull them off, just tap the b button, don’t hold it down for even a second, like what you were presumably doing

I’m pretty sure for the level with the spikes; you’re supposed to run towards the clouds and then duck jump and twirl. Idk what Dave was doing with all those bunny hops.

Glad to see a SENSEC again.. been having a burnout lately, that i need to watch relaxed stuff, and sometimes do some simple stuff.
Life's been a mess, father passed almost 1 year ago, and that took a lot of energy from me for that long.
But i'm somewhat back, so glad our man Dave is still doing well... (reminded of his failures in the last few vids i watched in the last 24 hours)... doing somewhat well XD

You Don't have to do buffer jumps on that level hold right and duck jump at the correct frame and you will hit the axe
There needs to be a difficulty for 0.00% and one for 0.00% with clears because those are the hardest levels ever. So hard that, even if you clear it, it still says 0.00%.
I did make a 40 second speed run and no one has beat it

on the bufferjump level you can just crouch and very lightly press ZR next to the one block high axe
If it doesnt work it means ur pressing it a bit to hardly

I still think the 0 skips rule is weird, especially when levels that were not designed to be beaten quickly appear and nobody can stop them appearing. There's no chance of Nintendo adding an opt out of Mario Challenge so any levels like that should just be able to be skipped imo
I think the point of the challenge is to deal with what you get and see how you can deal with it. Theres skippable and no-skips, two differing challenges so theres 2 types of challenes depending on what you a willing to do.

Don’t know if people said this or not Dave, but the movie title is ‘a life less ordinary’, I saw it, wasn’t my personal favourite, IMO ‘salmon fishing on the Yemen’ is a much better Ewan Mcgregor romantic comedy

Anyone else notice that the last run was all first clears? The three levels DGR won had no clears and he lost on the one that had been. Maybe try a run where it is SE but skip any that are already cleared. See how far you can get.
